Skipping Stones Design September Challenge

Hi Everyone, for the coming week we have a fun challenge for you here at Skipping Stones Design - the theme is HALLOWEEN Now I don't have any Skipping Stones Halloween set, so its time to get creative! Nothing better than a real challenge! For my card I am using this hilarious Skipping Stones Designs set called Dandelion Dreams . I first masked the moon and then sponged with distress inks to get a spooky night background. I then took various stamps and first stamped them  in white. Then I moved the card a smidgen and overstamped with black. Repeated until I was happy. Added the "clouds" - white ink directly to paper. No sentiment, 'cause I don't have one.  Spooky enough, what do you think? Linking up with: Simon Says Wednesday challenge - Anything goes Happy Stamping!

I repeatedly stamped the cocoa cup with my Misti. I sponged the left side with dark brown ink and also stamped the cocoa cup on Kraft and heat embossed it in white. Added a snippet of  PP for more interest and mounted the Kraft circle with foam tape. So Suzy - Cats in a Tree

Hi Everyone,  I made a romantic night scene using those pretty So Suzy stamps : I started making my background first - using a punched out post-it note and sponging around in yellow. I then took grey distress ink and sponged again, but was not happy with how it looked. So I took Memento Luxe ink in grey and sponged again - this ink works like a charm - smooth and creamy, no splotches. Then I took the   Cats in a Tree stamp and stamped it with my Misti. Added the  Audrey Hepburn  sentiment. It still needed something, so I figured splatters would do and I think they succeeded. You can see it as stars or perhaps snowflakes - after all winter is coming, right? Linking up with: AAA cards  - masking CASology - cute (cute cats in love - should work...) Happy Stamping!
