More eye problems...

Hi Everyone,
  As some of you already know I developed more eye problems. I went back to work for 2 days and then developed a new tear in my retina which caused retinal detachment.

I spent Saturday at the hospital getting emergency surgery. Now I am not allowed to do anything with either eye (since movement of one eye affects the other) for at least 3 months depending on how the healing goes.

Throughout the month of October  you will see some blog posts coming up from me because they were all prepared before my surgery. And then there will be a long void... :(((

I miss you all so much already and hopefully I will be back at some point in the future.

Oh no Cornelia, what a set back. But rather just sit back and heal completely ... you know the saying, rather safe now, than sorry later.

I hope you have someone who can read your comments of love, Cornelia. I'm so very sorry that you are suffering and laid up for three months. That will take you right through the holidays, too, which is additional suckiness! Try to be accepting and enjoy the opportunity for rest. (How's that for trying to be positive!) Oh dear, Cornelia, I am so sorry to hear of the problems you are experiencing with your eyes. I'm sure you are totally frustrated at having to rest your eyes for a time but I'm sure it is for the best. And in the meantime, I'm sure you are being well cared for by your son. You are in my prayers. I have a cornea disease and ocular rosacea which affects my vison daily. I was devistated but now after 4 years with doing as the dr. ordered my vision is manageable -- I still have good days and bad days. Hang in there, be strong we will pray you through this.

Du solltest ja gar nicht am PC sein .....oder geht es deinen Augen jetzt doch wieder besser?? Tut mir leid, ich war schon eine Zeit lang nicht mehr auf meinen Lieblings Blogs unterwegs und hab erst heute deinen Post gelesen. Sieht wirklich nicht sehr gut aus was dir da passiert ist!
Ich wollte dir ja schon seit langem schreiben aber ich weiß nicht wie ich es anstelle, ich komm einfach zu nichts! Die Tage fegen dahin wie Steppenfeuer und in einem Monat ist schon Weihnachten, ...Wahnsinn!

Vielen Dank für deine mitfühlenden Worte. Ich weiß nicht wohin das noch führen wird! Kann mir sehr gut vorstellen, dass das bei dir sehr schlimme Erinnerungen geweckt hat!! Hoffentlich können sich alle einig werden um diesen Schurken so schnell wie möglich den Garaus zu machen!

Ich wünsche dir von ganzem Herzen gute Besserung. Pass gut aud dich auf und bleib stark, auch wenn es dir ewig lang vorkommt.

Welcome Cornelia :-) since I found his comments on my blog is my guess is that you've just a little bit better with your eyes? If so, I'm very happy, it was that wonderful message. But at the same time please, you save even more, to again Condition not deteriorated. We miss you on the network, but we are looking forward till you come back and show us only what miracles in your head waiting to be implemented. hugs

Dynamic Duos combined with CAS Colours and Sketches

I am getting the hang of combining challenges....not sure if that's good or bad... In the past I would just put all my "creative energy" into one challenge and then just link up with others, if the card just happened to fit...but now I do that on purpose. Mirror Image Stamping with So Suzy and the MISTI

Hi Everyone, I am so happy to be part of this wonderful event - the collaboration between So Suzy and the MISTI from My Sweet Petunia doing mirror image stamping.  This event is going on for the ENTIRE  MONTH! We are demonstrating the  Mirror Image Stamp    which coordinates with the Misti Stamping Tool! All month long, different bloggers will post a card using the  Mirror Image Stamp .  In my tutorial today, I will show you how use the  Mirror Image Stamp  on your cards. You can basically double your stamp supplies that way! The  mirror image stamp  is  a 4.25" x 5.5" piece of red rubber with no foam backing. So much larger than the other mirror image stamps out there and therefore much more useful!
