Colour me.....! #61

Hi Everyone, I am playing at
Colour me......! My GDT stint is over - I had such a great time, I wanted to play again!
This time its monochromatic orange. I got inspired by Laura Bassen - who does not get inspired by her??? And made this card:

I finally used my Mama Elephant set Trifecta, that I had forever in my stash. I adore it! Why I did not use it so far???NO idea.... Heat embossed the triangles in clear and sloshed watercolor on it. Let it dry and added the sentiment by Simon Says stamps

Added some white accents with a white Sharpie. Also added sequins and rounded the corners.
Linking up with :
Virginia's view - all things embossed
Seize the Birthday - anything birthday, option masculine

March Challenge: All Things Embossed

And lastly I wanted to share this with you:

See all that white stuff????? It has been accumulating over the last weeks and got some boost on Wednesday......but I believe on Sunday spring will arrive here! No more shoveling until next winter....

Hi Cornelia! First off let me just comment to your snow pic. Wow, it looks so beautiful and picturesque, but I know first hand what a pain in the butt all that snow can be! I feel for ya! Your card this week is SO COOL! The triangles and the watercoloring are so "now". I'm so happy to see you again at Colour Me!!!!

Ooh, sloshing - love the card! Can't imagine having to deal with that much snow. Everything grinds to a halt over here if we get more than an inch of snow!

Is it just me or has the title picture of your blog changed?? I'm so half asleep most of the time I don't pick up on many things but just looked at it now and thought 'wow'! I love EVERYTHING about Laura Bassen and your CASE of her card is brilliant! It even makes me like orange, which is a colour I never use but is growing on me of late. And I must say, your house looks so beautiful and is the type of house I've always dreamed of living in. Bet its even more beautiful on the inside. Hope your not still covered in snow!

Hi Cornelia, love the snowy pics! It's so fun to see the "real world" from online crafters. Your card is gorgeous, as always. I really like that you contained the ink to the centre area and left a white border. Also, that two-tone sentiment is to die for! So glad to see you playing at Colour Me! :) Julia

Schnee in Hülle und Fülle, wie ich sehe hat es euch schwer erwischt!! Dazu ein wunderschönes, sonniges Kärtchen - ob das hilft ;)
