STAMPlorations Sketch Challenge #12

Hi my Friends, this is my second post today, for the House of Cards challenge inspiration please scroll down.
It's time for another sketch challenge at  STAMPlorations. I love this sketch (see below) - it has so many possibilities!

I used using Trendy Feathers, which I heat embossed and fuzzy cut. The sentiment is from the same set. The stitching I did with the PATCHWORK FRENZY: Graphic Squares set. The tilted panel is patterned paper. I sponged some butterscotch Adirondack ink onto the Kraft paper to make it look a tad more interesting. The Paper Candy I colored with Copics. I added some metallic copper colored thread and threaded everyting through an eyelet.

This time Debbie from Indy's Design is joining us as guest designer - I am so glad she could join us. Debbie has created a really cute card - come on over and have a look! Besides that there are just wonderful cards from our DT to spark your Mojo!

I am also entering this card into the Snippets Playground - use a snippet (feathers)

The challenge ends May 30; the winner will be announced June 1. I hope to see you there! And don't forget to visit my

House of Cards blop post

Thanks for coming over and have a great day!

I love your card! Your use of the feathers, and the way you embossed them is very striking. Very well cool design. I love the sketchy look of the card. One of the coolest card I've seen using feathers.

I was staring at your white panel and thinking you painted it with gesso or white paint and then distressed it -- then I read that it's patterned paper! Love those embossed feathers and how the paper brads coordinated with it!

Hi Cornelia! Love this card, those feathers are fabulous and such great stamping.

I managed to link you into the Playground (at number 30) - Mr Linky did get a bit stroppy and I had to upload your image to my laptop to get him to co-operate, but got there in the end :)

Hugs, Di xx

Katzelkraft - Stampotique Raven

Hi Everyone, Do you know that   Katzelkraft has aquired Stampotique stamps? This fun raven is designed by Daniel Torrente (#6314). I used an old background from my stashs.  I stamped the bird and colored it with alcohol ink markers.  I brushed distrss ink onto the background and added some pattern with the   Mandala Magic stencil  from Funky Fossil Designs.I used one of the border stamps on the left for more interest.  Stamped the sentiment  and doodled a frame around the sentiment.Added a googly eye to the bird and drew in some eye lashes.  The stamps I used are from the following sets: Spiral Borders - KTZ286,  Whatchamacallit  - KTZ276  (FRANCE) Spiral Borders  - KTZ286 , Whatchamacallit  - KTZ276 (USA) Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration.  Thanks for visiting! Happy Stamping! Linking up with: Simon Says Wednesday challenge  - fur or feathers

Some more Christmas Cards...

Hi Everyone, there still are some Christmas cards  I made awhile ago and have not yet posted.... This one I made for the  Runway Inspired Challenge . The inspiration photo is below. I found it a little tricky to make this into a Christmas card, but with the help  of Neat&Tangled stamps it worked....The stitched dies are by Simon Says. Added some Washi tape on top (the headdress) and silver glitter paper at the bottom (the floor and silver shoes) and voila a Christmas card! My second card I made with an iStencil, gold embossing paste, faux pearls, an enamel dot and lots of splatters. The stitched die I cut the Kraft panel with is by Simon Says. I love this stencil and stenciled cards are just so quick and easy to make. I used this one for several cards this year, on of which you can see HERE . http://www.istencils.com/store/products/22-00029 I am linking up this card with: Stamps and fun=Creativity - Christmas U...
