Topflight Stamps meets the Day of the Month Card Club

Hi Everyone, It's  Topflight Stamps   day!  And since I am pressed for time I thought I am going to combine it with the Day of the Month Card Club, which has National Bird Day as it's theme . You have perhaps seen my bottle series. First I thought I am done after 4 cards, but everyone seems to like them. Besides I got some spice jars and a bird feeder as Christmas present from a good friend of mine, so I needed a thank you card. Basically killing three birds with one stone, so to speak....although the only thing I manage to kill is mosquitos and mice in my house.... This card is quite simple, but it took me a while to get the layout right. I wanted more bottles but it became too busy. Should have used a bigger card format for that, but I wanted to stick with what I usually do. So eventually I scaled it down to one bottle only and two birds. Did some masking and colored with watercolors and markers. For my stamp supplies see below. Don't forget to visit the Day of the Mont...

Katzelkraft - Good Bye 2020

Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. It's the end of 2020 and aren't we all happy it's over? Let's just hope for a better 2021. With the vaccine soon being available to the most vulnerable part of the population and hopefully within a few month to everyone else it seems like we can see the light at the end of the tunnel...... You probably know by now, that I am totally in love with those  cool glass bottles  from Darkroom Door. I made a card with it last week and the week before, you can see them  HERE ,  HERE  and HERE .  I made this the usual way I make my cards - stamped and colored with Inktense, markers and water brush pens. No sentiment this time.  I think its self-explanatory.  The stamps I used are from the following sets: Les Marins  - KTZ 234  (FRANCE) Sea Creatures   - KTZ 226   (USA) Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration. So Suzy Stamps 2016 Design Team Blog Hop

Hi Everybody! Welcome to the 2016 So Suzy Stamps Design Team Blog Hop! We have a brand new team bringing you So Suzy projects for the rest of 2016 and I was chosen to be a part of it! I am so excited to be part of this wonderful and talented team! If you came from Angel's blog or you are starting here, then you are in the right place! Here is my card: Since I am brand new to this team I do not have many stamps yet....so I had to get creative....I took some glass and bottle dies and made myself a stencil using a scrap piece of card stock: I sponged the bottles in various shades of pink and added the glasses in front. Stamped the wonderfully snarky sentiment and finished my card with some striped paper (envelop liner) and an enamel dot. And then I could not stop myself and made a second card. Similar. Grouped the bottles differently and added gel pen reflections. Used a stitched die to cut my card stock and mounted it on a red card base. Thanks for stopping by - y...

Topflight Stamps - Happy Mothers Day

Hi Everyone, This week it's about Mother's Day or Spring on the Topflight blog.  I first stamped the flower. Stamped the bottles with masking the first one and the big bubble and then stamping the second impression again after I took the mask off, to get a lighter impression behind the glass. Colored everything with water colors. Heat embossed the sentiment on vellum and wrapped it around the card base and taped it to the back. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  See you next week with more  Topflight Stamps  inspiration. And for a few days you'll get a little Easter present: And here are the stamp supplies I used:  Grunge Flower  ( similar flower ), Bottles Special Day Duo sentiments , Versafine Linking up with: Inkspirational - see photo below
