  Hi Everyone, The new February release coming into the shop on Friday at  Funky Fossil Designs !  Today is the third day of the stamp reveal. Today we are introducing the set  Spring Gnomes , Easter Egg dies and Twiggy Wreath dies. I only used one of the sentiments from the Spring Gnomes for this card. This wonderful new wreath die is just perfect for making Easter cards! It also comes with those cute little eggs and some small flowers, that I did not use here. I lightly colored some of those eggs and added matching Perfect Pearls dots to the wreath.  Heat embossed the sentiment on  apiece of scrap designer paper. Trimmed the card and added the same paper at the bottom. As with every new release there will also be new dies and enamel dots. You'll see it all on Friday, the release day. A lot to look forward to! It's another set in Funky Fossils amazing masculine stamp line! For this car I used  a page from the Patina paper pad . I stamped the rocket and the moon on scrap paper, lightly colored them and cut them out. Heat embossed the sentiments on black and arranged everything on my card. Trimmed the paper and mounted it onto black card stock. As with every new release there will also be new dies and enamel dots. You'll see it all on Friday, the release day. A lot to look forward to! My first card from this upcoming release is made with the set  Rock Chick . This set is designed by Elena Zinski - you probably recognize her distinct, funky style! I stamped the chick and masked it. Stenciled the background ( Butterfly Wreath ). Colored the chick with Copics. Stamped the sentiment  - it's from the same set. Tore up some Washi tape and added it. As with every new release there will also be new dies and enamel dots. You'll see it all on Friday, the release day. A lot to look forward to!      Hi Everyone, It's  Topflight Stamps   day!  This week it's anything goes.  I recently discovered those cute little mouse stamps by Pink Ink Designs in the store. Could not pass them.... Besides, I love making under water scenes. Such an adorable little creature!  This card actually was a fair amount of "work". I colored the mouse and fish with Copics and cut them out. Used one of my old gel press backgrounds and stamped the mouse and fish again. Glued on the colored ones. Made the port hole with some generic round dies and a little round punch. The outer ring I cut three times and glued it together for more dimension. I used bronze shimmer paper, but then I found it a bit too dark and wiped Inka Gold over it, once it was assembled.  Glued everything onto wood paper. Added the heat embossed sentiment. Lastly I added Crystal Laquer onto the goggles. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  See you next week with more  Topflig...

  Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. Since Easter is coming soon I wanted to contribute a Katzelkraft card to this holiday! I was doing some "research" in this regard on Pinterest and I came upon this funny entry , that needed to be recreated, eh m CASED , ehm....plainly copied..... I scoured my cooking magazines for a suitable egg - I really was looking for on in a pan, but couldn't find one. I brushed the background. Added the chicken from the  Farm Animals  set. Stamped it again on scrap paper and cut out its body. Colored it lightly and pasted it onto the stamped chicken on the card. Printed the sentiment and used  a die for the speech bubble. Mounted it with foam tape.    Hi Everyone, as you might know, I am set on producing at least one Christmas card per week this year. Here is my card for this week: I am playing along with the color challenge provided by  52 CCT . I used the pretty Folk Art Tree die  from Funky Fossil Designs. Layered gold shimmer paper behind it. Added it to a dry embossed white card base (Spellbinders) - so sorry you can't really see that in the photo. It is very subtle.    Hi Everyone, I made this with one of the new January release sets and one of the older  Funky Fossil Designs  sets. For stamps link see below. The little boat is from the new set called Going Places and is designed by Donna Grey. You all know what a huge fan I am of her stamps. So I am delighted I get to play with another one of her sets. I stamped the boat and all the animals on scrap paper, colored them with Inktense and markers and cut them out. Tore up a page from the Patina paper pad and used them for the waves. The giraffe is from the " On Safari" set. The sentiment is heat embossed. It is from the same set. Rounded the bottom right corner.
