Shell and Octopi

Hi Everyone,  I wanted to make one more summer card, before the summer is completely  over and Challenge up your Life provided the incentive - the theme is shells. I thought I had some shells, but I was wrong, but then I dug o up this Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymus set, that I had won a looooong time ago and hadn't used. It has quite a beautiful shell in it. I also wanted to play with my new pearl alcohol inks. The shimmer doesn't show well in the picture, but they are pretty. I added some foil to the sticky areas. The delicate octopi are by Alexandra Renke and the frame is by Steckenpferdchen.  Linking up with:   Challenge up your Life   - shells Happy Little Stampers - anything goes with dies Simon Says Monday challenge - stamp it

12 Days of Christmas

Hi Everyone, sorry to disappoint you, but there is only 3 days of Christmas on this card - no way to fit all twelve.... I finally inked up this cute Penny Black set that I had for ages in my stash..... I die cut 3 circles and marked the opening on the base card. Stamped the critters in there. Colored them with markers and Inktense pencils.  Did some ombre sponging for the top panel and added water splatters.  Linking up with : Jingle Belles - 12 Days of Christmas Penny Black - animals

Stamp Connection #52

Hi Everyone, Connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Tanja from   Little Art Cottage   and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 2rd Sunday of the month and this is our ninth transatlantic get-together! This time it was Tanja's turn to pick the requirements: Interactive Birthday Card I used the slider surprise die from MFT, which makes things real easy, although you could just make the whole thing with a rectangular die and a score board. The cute otters are also form MFT - the set is called otterly love. I had it forever in my stash until now NBUS, for no good reason. I used a Memory Box stencil to create the water and patterned paper for the rest of the card.  So cute! I have a lot of ideas of what to do next with this die - you'll see more of it, I promise! Lets check out   Tanja's artwork! Happy Stampi...

Hi Everyone, welcome our seventh  Day of the Month Card Club challenge ! This month we are celebration "Read A Book Day". Actually that day should be every day....  For more detail on this day go visit our challenge blog. We also have a Guest Designer with us - Daniela, who was voted winner in challenge #5. It will not disappoint, I promise! Here is my card: While I really do love to read I don't have a lot of book stamps....but as you see, you don't need one. I took an advertisement from the New York Times and added some Cats on Appletrees stamps. I colored the shirts of the people with Prismacolor pencils and die cut the READ on card stock and doubled it up a bit to make it stand out a bit more. Now I hope you will have time to  play along! ...

Christmas Inchies

Hi Everyone, CAS Mix-up has a fun theme this month and I decided to play along. The theme is inchies. In fact I have so many ideas for this I might just play again.... This is super easy. I just took some Washi tape and stuck it onto card stock. Took a 1 inch square die and cut three times. Mounted them with foam tape. Stamped the sentiment (inkystamps) and since it looked kind of empty I also added the little fox (Poppy Stamps). I am also  a square format for this card, thought it looked better that way. Happy Stamping!
