Hi Everyone, Connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Tanja from   Little Art Cottage   and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 2rd Sunday of the month and this is our 50th transatlantic get-together! This time it was Tanja's turn to pick the requirements: try a new technique I choose the gesso resist technique that a long time ago was featured on A Blog named Hero . It is quite easy. You take a stamp and add gesso to it. wait for it to dry and then sponge over it. Wipe the ink from the gesso with a wet rag. I used a Hero Art background stamp. The die cut is from Altenew. Hi Everyone, As half of the year is over it is definitely time to start making Christmas cards. Jingle Belles wants to see Santas. I obliged.... I took my favorite Santa and reindeer die from Dixi Crafts and this time colored the Santa. You see this better above. I die cut a window and stamped my favorite Christmas trees from STAMPlorations behind. Added some Stickles. The sentiment is also by STAMPlorations. Happy Stamping! Hi Everyone, welcome our fourth  Day of the Month Card Club challenge ! This month we are celebration "Hug your Cat Day". Now I am sure a lot of people can relate to that. We also have a Guest Designer with us - it's the fabulous, creative and oh so funny Darnell from djcardkreations ! You can't miss her cute card - so don't forget to check out the blog post! On my last visit to Germany I could not resist to pick up this grumpy looking cat from Hein Design - a German company. I thought it would be perfect for this challenge. The background is made with a Tim Holtz stencil, the sentiment is from Honey Bee Stamps. Now I hope you will have time to  play along! I am counting on you! Hi Everyone, That Moo to You set is just up my alley! You can also get the stamps separately and don't have to buy the entire set, if you just fall in love with one of the cows. Thought I let you know that - just in case.... Here is the entire set: From Moo to You And that's how I made this card: I stamped the cow and the sentiment. I took some sand paper and created graphite dust from a pencil Took a iStencil   and sponged the graphite mostly around the cow. Took the stencil off. You can see that there is graphite dust on the cow, but that will easily come off with an eraser as you can see here. I like those knead-able erasers best for that. I then colored the cow with markers. Added Stickles to the cupcake and candles. Don't forget about our challenge, which goes until the end of the month. Play along, if you find time! Hi Everyone, it's Katzelkraft Wednesday! I made this card for my nephews graduation - he is now an aviation engineer. I used the sets  Les Pabos Aviateur  and Holiday Quotes I stamped the little pilot and colored it with Inktense. I made the sky with a MFT stencil. (Did some masking). I added the sentiment. I also added the mortar board (die by Impression Obsession). Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration! Hi Everybody, the sale category for Crackerbox & So Suzy Stamps is animals, so I took that as an excuse to play with my favorite frogs: Stamp supplies: Frog with Fly , Frogs are lucky  I took a white base card and die cut a square opening.  I marked the opening with pencil on the inside and stamped the frog onto the card. I colored it with Inktense pencils, as well as markers.  I stamped the sentiment under the frog. I thought the outside was a bit bland, so I took some distress oxide inks and sponged it green.
