Get Well Wishes with Katzelkraft

Hi Everyone, a friend asked me to make a get well card for her - so I grabbed the deflated elephant from Katzelkraft - my go to stamp for that occasion. Its from the set Les Jungles  - I copied a picture below.   See all those fun critters?  I love them all - each one is so expressive! I stamped, water colored and Brusho'ed. Added the sentiment (Honey Bee). I first did not add splatters (card above), then I changed my mind. I like the splattered version better. Happy Splattering! Winter Striped Tree

Hi Everyone, I played with my iStencils - this beautiful tree stencil is one of my favorites It's called Winter Striped Tree . So clean and modern, yet the swirls add a  lot of interest.  For the white card I stenciled twice - once in lime green. Then I moved the stencil a smidgen and sponged again with a darker green. Then I splattered gold splatters with Fine Tec and let it dry. Die cut the sentiment from the card and with fun foam and put it all together. Added the little "wishes", Washi tape and enamel dots The second card is essentially the same, except that I stenciled only once (I actally made that card first). Twice is better. Did not splatter (another mistake) The die cuts I used are from Papertrey. this card got some little gems and of course Washi tape. Happy Stenciling everyone!  Linking up with: Happy Little Stampers - anything goes with dies Time Out Challenge - CASeing MicheleFerguson (see her...

Merry and Bright with So Suzy Stamps

Hi Everyone, Christmas is coming and So Suzy has so many fabulous Christmas stamps. I pulled out some of my stash and that's what came of it. My stamp supplies:  Pine Branch,   Small Bow , Happy Light Merry sentiment , Ornament I first inked up the pine cone with Versamark and stamped it. Move the paper a smidgen and stamped it again in green. Heat embossed it in clear with WOW embossing powder. I masked a square and sponged with distress inks. The heat embossed pine branch resists the inke and you get a white contour around it. Sprinkled water on it and dabbed it off with a paper towel to get some texture. I added the sentiment. Finished off the card with the pretty bow and some die cut ornaments. The inside of them I stamped with a part of the ornament stamp and heat embossed it in gold, also with WOW embossing powder.  Happy Holiday Card Making!
