Stamp Connection #25

Hi Everyone, Connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Tanja from   Little Art Cottage   and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 3rd Sunday of the month and this is our 25th transatlantic get-together! We also have the amazingly talented Suchi from  Suchi's CardStock  joining us. This time it was my turn to pick the requirements: I choose "FIRE" Ha, I love to play with fire! I cut some card stock obliquely and set it on fire, to get those burnt edges. Extinguished it with water - which stains the edges brown - kind of an interesting effect.  Got rid of all the ashes and then applied glue near the edges and foiled it. Glued everything together and added the sentiment. The die cut is by  CUTplorations and the little birthday is  Stamplorations - Pets . I also added brown splatters.   Lets visit Tanja an...

Spots and Stripes and Muse Christmas Visions

Hi Everyone, for the Muse Christmas Visions inspiration you need to scroll down. I am playing along with Less is more - the challenge is just to my liking! One layer (my favorite) combined with spots and stripes - can't think of anything better! Made two cards - quite similar. I do like my first one better My supplies: Dotted circle by Altenew, sentiment Lil Inkers and striped star is a Simon Says die cut. I did inlaid die cutting, to make it one layer. For my second card I just rearranged everything. I am sure opinions will vary, which one looks better.... Now onto  Muse Christmas Visions : Kimberley Wiener is our Muse this month! And I cased her card like this: Here is Kimberley's card: You see how I got inspired - or better how I basically copied it.....Took that elegant wreath from Uniko and heat embossed it in green. Sponged distress ink onto the wreath and added those tiny berries. Added the sentiment, some Stic...

Congraduations

Hi Everyone, I got those new dies (unbranded) and have been itching to use them - just love that funky dog, or whatever it is.  I made the background with a cube stamp from Art gone Wild (ancient). The sentiment is also on the cube. The mortar board I made with an Die-Versions die - just cut off the head that was attached. Trimmed the card and added a contrasting piece of paper at the bottom. Bat Mitzvah with Concord and 9th

Hi Everyone, one of my neighbors is a big fan of my card and she ordered a Bat Mitzvah card from me. I don't do them too often, but thankfully I have some stamps at home for just this occasion. I used my new Concord and 9th flower stamps and water color paper. Did some masking, as you can see and added the sentiment, which is a combination of Paper Smooches and Impression Obsession. The tiny stars are by Papertrey. I added some black Stickles onto the flower centers (hard to see on the picture) and some sequins. The colors I got from this stunning mood board by The Heart Desires  - its for the current challenge and of course I am playing along! With colors like those I can't resist! So Suzy Button Flowers

Hi Everyone, I want to share a card with you I made with those pretty flowers from the new So Suzy release. If you are like me and not that good at coloring, you could try this with your flower stamps.  I used both button flowers, there is a right and a left one. Thinking of you I stamped the flowers randomly on Kraft with Versamark, heat embossed them and colored them with white paint and a water brush. Added s faint grey shadow for dimension Then I heat embossed the sentiment and underlaid it with vellum. Added it with foam tape for dimension I still thought it need a little something. I just got those wonderful dragonfly die cuts from my blogging friend Doerthe from Flo's Habseligkeiten - one of them flew right onto the card! I "treated" it with Stickles beforehand. Hope you liked this! Linking up with: Inkspirational challenge  - see picture below Aud Sentiment challeng...

Oh Christmas Tree

Hi Everyone, here comes my weekly Christmas card - inspired by Merry Monday - loved the theme - something non standard - I always find that more interesting than the usual stuff. It is "non-black silhouettes". Well, I thought I can do this! Took out the Winter landscape die from CUTplorations and a Sizzix embossing folder, some white card stock and the funky reindeer by Dixie Crafts - actually that die cut I had left over from last years Christmas card production. The sentiment is by Stamplorations - Shery Russ Design. And because the reindeer wasn't goofy enough I gave it a googly eye..... Oh, how I love how this turned out! (Just in case you like the landscape die -  Use  code STAMPGIRLCORNELIA to get 20% off on all stamps, stencils, and dies on all regular- and sale-priced items in the store.)
