Joy Clair - Three Wise Men

Hi Everyone, I am on the  Joy Clair blog  today with a tag I made with one of the new release sets called Three Wise Men . This is such a pretty set! I especially love those little silhouette stamps. That's why I used them for my tag.... I started out cutting a tag ( CUTplorations ) using Kraft and blue backing paper. I stamped the silhouette stamps with my Misti and sponged the background - of course I masked my sun. I added the sentiment and those little stars, which I highlighted with a gel pen. Took a ribbon and connected the tags at the top. Hope you liked this! Go and visit the  Joy Clair blog  to see all the new sets!  Don't forget to play with us in the  Joy Clair November challenge   - the theme is Christmas and we have a beautiful inspiration picture to give you some colors to play with! The challenge closes November 29, so there is still some time left to play! Linking up with: Less is More ...

Combined So Suzy and The Ton Blog Hop

Hi Everyone, I am sooooo excited to be part of this amazing event - a combined hop between So Suzy Stamps and The Ton! I have been eyeing The Ton stamps and dies for quite a while - they are just gorgeous! And So Suzy - well you have seen their stamps on my blog - they are simply fabulous! I also love that they are made from rubber - its different stamping with them. Its much better for generational stamping and they don't stick to your paper when you use your Misti. You may have arrived from the fabulous  Eunji - its a hard act to follow her.... I got those gorgeous  Peonies Dies  from The Ton and die cut them with water color paper. Spritzed Dylusion inks on a sheet of plastic and dipped the dies into the colors. Mounted them onto black card stock. Added the So Suzy Birthday sentiment - heat embossed in white. Lastly I added a strip of envelope liner paper at the bottom. Here are my supplies: So Suzy Birthday sentiment ,  Peo...

Stamp Connection #19

Hi Everyone, Connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Tanja from   Little Art Cottage   and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 3rd Sunday of the month and this is our nineteenth transatlantic get-together! This time it was my turn to pick the requirements:  and I picked Foiling I have to use those foil papers I bought - they are collecting dust....tsk, tsk, tsk.... I water colored my background, let it dry and foiled the sentiment on it - the stamp is by Neat&Tangled, as is the splatter. Splattered some ink on it as well and added Washi Tape It really is easy to do. Not sure, why I don't do it more often. I love how it looks. I use some craft glue i have in my stash, not the special glue recommended. It works just fine, as you can see. Muse Challenge #192

Hi Everyone, it has been ages for my playing in the Muse challenge - I couldn't resist when I saw Tracey McNeeley's gorgeous card..... Basically copied it with different colors - used that gorgeous  Maple Line Leaf  from So Suzy Stamps Inked up the back side and spritzed it with water and stamped it onto water color paper. Once it was completely dry (overnight) I stamped the leaf in Versamark and embossed it in silver. Added silver Washi tape, the sentiment  (also So Suzy), sequins and silver embroidery string. Here is Tracey's fab card: Another view of mine: Linking up with: Mod Squad challenge - use a ribbon - used embroidery thread - I wonder if that counts.... Happy Stamping!

So Suzy - Blowing Snowflake Tree

Hi Everyone,  today we have a special feature for you at the So Suzy blog: We are introducing the  Blowing Snowflake Tree  stamp -  I am sure it sells out in no time...... It is just gorgeous!  Here is how I made my card: I started to swipe grey ink over my card stock. Added the tree with my Misti, to make sure I get a nice black impression. I did have to stamp a few times. I then stamped the tree again on a scrap piece of card stock, using Kaleidocolor ink. I then punched three circles for the blue tree and sponged them in blue for more impact. and fitted them onto the black tree. Added Stickles, some enamel dots and a grey piece of card stock on the left.
