It' s TAGS at  Little Tangles   and a wonderful color combination at Color Throwdown #300 ! What a milestone - 300 color challenges - certainly a good reason to play. So I pulled out my favorite Neat &Tangled set  -  Everyday Labels  and made a tag - something I very rarely do - not sure why, should make one more often..... I als oadded some Paper Candi (colored with Copics) and ribbon, as you can see. The tag die is by Mama Elephant. I popped it up with foam tape.  I kind of like it - CAS and those colors - they are just gorgeous!                Thanks for visiting me today - have a great Sunday!

I guess its time to make more Christmas cards! I basically could not resist playing in the Merry Monday challenge - such a great inspiration picture this time! Who would have thought green wood looks so good? Although I still think there is something missing here - perhaps I should have grunged up the wood a bit? What do you think? Its another birthday celebration here at STAMPlorations - Monika  is celebrating here birthday today! I hope you have FUN today, party your heart out and have a great cake! Just in case the latter did not happen  - I made you one, teamie - I hope you like it! As we both are on STAMPlorations I used mainly STAMPlorations stamps for this card - the wonky cake is from the set  Its Your Day , the "celebrate" is from the Sentiment Builder: Celebrate The die cut is from Simon Says, as is the rest of the sentiment (heat embossed). The cake I stamped on watercolor paper and "sloshed" it with distress inks. Added some splatters and Paper Candi.  And I will add this card to this weeks Cutting Edge challenge , the  AAA Cards challenge  and Moxie Fab - Wonderful Word Dies as well as with I am also linking this card with my favorite challenge - the  Snippets Playground  - the black bottom panel is a snippet and Virgina's view - die cuts...

Hi STAMPloration friends,  Cornelia  is here today! I am sure you have seen all the new STAMPlorations stamp sets that got released for  STAMPlorations's first birthday celebration . Today I want to  share  some cards with you that I made with my favorite set from this release - its  the    Celebrate Artsy Vignette set : It has soooo many possibilities! You can use it as background, but you can also use it as stand alone stamps. As you can see, I was playing around and got a little silly here. I did some generational stamping in the first card, drew the ears and tail onto the doggie. The "dear friend" is from the  Trendy Feathers set . The second card is even simpler - I can envision some Halloween theme with it too - just not in the mood yet.... The "Missing you" is from  Holiday Artsy . Added the googly eyes and those tiny punched hearts. Now go, "stretch" your stamps and get silly, too! So muc...

Hi, here is my second blog post for today - please scroll down for the House of Cards challenge post! So its time again for the new sketch challenge at STAMPlorations ! And here is my interpretation: I kept it very simple - the colorful background panel I colored with alcohol inks on glossy card stock. This beautiful lily stamp I also stamped on glossy card stock and popped it up with foam tape and some gold thread behind it. I used the sets  Boxed Blooms and Bold Sentiments  and  PATCHWORK FRENZY: Graphic Squares  (sentiment) for this card.
