Topflight Stamps - Katzelkraft Christmas

Hi Everyone, This week's theme is anything goes on the  Topflight blog .  I am now in major Christmas card mode. Don't expect to see much else for the next couple of weeks... I have a shaped card for you today. I don't make those very often... I got the template from my blogging friend Flo from Flos Habseligkeiten . It's quite an easy one. You take a 11x8.5" piece of card stock and cut it lengthwise in half. Then you fold it along the diagonal. and then you fold it again, matching up the long and short ends. I hope that was clear....This creates a nice pocket - you could use it as a gift card or money holder as well. I stamped onto the card. Added some wood patterned paper to the inside. cut  some paper to fit the outer backside and stamped the Santa in his bed onto it. Brushed around in black and blue. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  See you next week with more  Topflight Stamps  inspiration. And here are the stamp supplies I...

I first masked my card and sponged it with distress oxide inks in an ombre pattern . I stamped the tree and the sentiment.  Added little gems and some Stickles. Katzelkraft - Enjoy the Moment

Brushed around the edges and colored the owl a bit. Heat embossed the sentiment and cut it out. The stamps I used are from the following sets: Cats on Books - KTZ295,  Owls - KTZ237,  Christmas Snowflakes - KTZ282,  Birch Forest - KTZ285,  Enjoy Quotes - KTZ291 (FRANCE) Cats on Books  - KTZ295,  Owls  - KTZ237,  Christmas Snowflakes - KTZ282,  Birch Forest  - KTZ285,  Enjoy Quotes - KTZ291   (USA) Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration.  Thanks for visiting! Funky Fossil Designs - Calendar January

Hi Everybody!  I am back with a post for  Funky Fossil Designs . If you missed out on the wonderful calendar Funky Fossil had in the store last year - now is your change of grabbing one of the new ones! They are still available , but last year they sold like hot cakes and were gone in no time!  I used the delightful set Woodcut Woodlands to create my January page. I wanted a wintery feel to it, so I restrained myself with the colors. Jus a bit of light blue sponging, some grey for the ground and light grey stamping on the left side of my paper. Found it a bit bland, so I added the mushrooms with some thread and also stamped directly onto the calendar. Be careful if you do that, because the paper has a slight gloss to it and the stamps slide easily on the paper. That's why my hedgehog has such a small eye.... Oh well, you live and learn! All stamps are form the same set. The stamps I used: Desktop Calendar A5 Woodcut Woodlands    I hope you liked this. Thanks fo...

Topflight Stamps - Gift Tags

Hi Everyone, This week's theme is all about tags, containers or gift card holders on the  Topflight blog .  I went with tags - always come to good use! Those tags are really easy to make and you can easily mass produce them. I used a tag die from my stash and cut them out of card stock. I brushed the tags with two different inks (Lavinia Elements see below and wild honey distress ink) and used my beloved Lavinia stamps to create the scenery. I did some generational stamping as you can see. Added some white splatters for some snow and added the heat embossed sentiment.  Lastly I attached some twine from my stash. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  See you next week with more  Topflight Stamps  inspiration. Don't forget about our current Black Friday sale: And here are the stamp supplies I used:  Small Pine Trees , Fairy Fir Tree 2 large Floral Wreath ,  Pipin mini Basil and Bibi ,  Mermaid Merry Christmas sentiment strip ,  Blen...

Katzelkraft - Wiener Wonderland

Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. Continuing with my Christmas card production! I found this sentiment on Pinterest and thought it would go great with that Wiener Christmas dog. I stamped and colored  him with alcohol inks. Cut him out. Stamped some trees in the background and added some snow drifts. Used some Funky fossil Washi tape on the side. Doctored the sentiment to make it fit. The stamps I used are rom the following sets: Santa's Dog - Solo145, Winter Wonderland - KTZ280 (FRANCE) Santa's Dog  - Solo145, Winter Wonderland  - KTZ280   (USA) Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration.  Thanks for visiting! Funky Fossil Designs - Late Fall Berries

Hi Everybody!  I am back with a card for  Funky Fossil Designs . I need to show this card before it gets to late and winter will be here...... There is that beautiful  Summer Twilight rub-on set  in the store that perhaps you have seen. I experimented and rubbed one of the images onto some sticky back linen that I have now in my stash for years.....It worked beautifully! For my background I used a Kraft piece of card stock. Stamped the very large stamp called  Wildflower Fields  on it and sponged with some distress inks. The little tag and sentiment are from the paper pad  Summer Twilight  . The supplies I used: Summer Twilight rub-on set Wildflower Fields  stamp Summer Twilight  (sentiment) I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting! Happy Stamping! Linking up with:

Christmas in Kraft, White and Black

Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Christmas card.  I am playing along with  52CCT  - the theme is Kraft, White and Black I got a Twofer out of this one. Used the Tim Holtz Nordic Winter cover plate. I used some double sticky adhesive before I ran it through my Big Shot. And boy did I regret that.... Almost impossible to get those shapes out of the cover plate - kept sticking everywhere. I did manage to get it all out, except for the very small dots. I gave up on them....way to painful. But I had enough for a second card - the one above, which I actually like better. Lacking those little dots I just added a lot of white splatters for some fake snow. The sentiments are die cut 3 times and glued together. The one above is by Papertrey, the one below is from STAMPlorations. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  Linking up with: 52CCT  - Kraft, White and Black

GDT for the Dream Factory Challenge - Elliot the littlest Reindeer

Hi Everyone, Today I am honored to be guest designing for the current  Traumfabrik/Dream Factory challenge . It's a challenge about  movies and the inspiration will be coming from the movie  "Elliot the littlest Reindeer" . Don't worry If you don't know the movie. Anything Christmas is fine, as long as it somewhere features a reindeer. I started with selecting a background paper. This one is from the beautiful  White Magic paper pad  from Funky Fossil Designs. I stamped the sentiment first ( Vivas las Vegas)  and added the various reindeers ( Cats on Appletrees,Stampin' up). Added a little bauble to one of the antlers and some embellishments in the upper corners (Technique Tuesday stamps). Also added a brad and some red thread as well as tiny red enamel dots to the reindeer's noses. Below is the movie poster for your inspiration. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting and perhaps you'll find some time to play along with the  Traumfabrik/D...
