Joyous Holiday

Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Christmas card.  I am playing along with 52CCT - the theme is "music".   I first stamped the angel (an ancient Inkadinkadoo stamp) with Versamark and heat embossed it with a sparkly clear embossing powder (Brutus Monroe - Fairy Dust). I then sponged the background in an ombre pattern. Wiped off the color from the angel. Die cut a smaller rectangle from the card and used the cut off as frame after I turned it around. Added water and white splatters. Added the sentiment. Added some gems. The angel sparkles wonderfully - unfortunately it doesn't show in the picture.... I hope you liked this. Woodblock Wednesday - Crocodile Thanks

Hi Everyone, I am playing along with  Woodblock Wednesday  from Amy Tsuruta. It's such a good excuse to play with my favorite, neglected wood stamps! For this card I combined this gorgeous flower stamp from Stampendous with a newly acquired crocodile by Paper Source. The die is from Penny Black. I stamped on water color paper and did some loose water coloring. The croc I stamped and cut out. Stamped one of the little flowers again and cut it out as well. I made this card as a thank you for my sister, who watered my flowers in my absence. Above you can see the wood block stamps I used. I got another crocodile stamp for my sister. What you can't see well is that I added a bit of Wink of Stella to the flowers for some sparkle. Hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting! Happy Stamping! Topflight Stamps - Travel Passport to Germany

Hi Everyone, This week the theme is "anything goes" at the  Topflight blog .  I could not resist this little Germany set from AALL&Create. After all I am German. I combined it with the new United Nations stencil, which is just perfect for this! I first brushed the stencil in green and brown and then added clear embossing past over it. After it had dried I brushed a bit blue around the stencil.   I stamped the girl onto the card and colored her with alcohol ink markers.  Stamped the beer mugs and flags. Cut them out and added them.  Stamped Germany repeatedly onto the card.  After that I made the passport outside with the same stencil and gold embossing paste. Added some airmail Washi tape from my stash. Cut the card inset and added it to the "passport". I hope you liked this.
