Release Day at Funky Fossil Designs

        Hi Everyone, Today is the stamp release day at  Funky Fossil Designs !  Every new stamp set, paper pad, dies, Washi tape etc. are now available for purchase in the store.  Here are some cards I made with the new sets:  I used the set  ​ Enchanted Christmas and a stencil (Spirograph) for this card. I sponged Inca Gold over the stencil and added a few gems.   I used the set  ​ ​ Naughty or Nice , a page from the wonderful new paper pad and one of the new tree dies and enamel dots. Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps - Christmas in July

  Hi Everybody,  Some of the products I have used have been provided to me from various companies I design for. Affiliate links may be used in the links provided below. It's July and that means time for Christmas cards!  I made this with stamps by  Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps   I have made similar cards in the past, but this is too good, not to repeat. I stamped the poinsettia into the upper corners using Versamark and heat embossed them in gold. Sprinkled Brushos on them and spritzed with water. After it dried, I added the sentiment with Staz-on ink. Topflight Stamps - Carabelle Studio

      Hi Everyone, It's  Topflight Stamps   day!  This week we are featuring stamps by Carabelle Studio .   I have a thing for fish, so I couldn't resist this awesome stamp set. It's linked below. I stamped the fish and colored them with water brush pens. Cut them out. I used a distress in reinker to make my background. Stamped the water drops. Lifted the ink off with water and a paper towel. Added a little white accent to the drops with a white pen. Added the fish and the sentiment. Lastly  I added a few clear dew drops to some of the water drops. Katzelkraft - I'm Different

         Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. I stamped the sentiment first. Sponged in rainbow colors where I was planning to stamp the animal and then stamped over it. Removed some of the color with bleach. colored it with water brush pens and markers. Added the glasses. Drew in the backpack. Trimmed the card and added a strip of black and white paper on the side. Funky Fossil New July Release

       Hi Everyone, Today is the third day of the stamp reveal at  Funky Fossil Designs !  I didn't have time to make a blog post every day, so I am combining them here. If you follow me on Instagram you will have seen the first two cards already. Day 1 set:  ​ Garden Days . I masked a strip and sponged with distress oxide inks in rainbow colors. Stamped and lightly colored the images tone on tone. Day 2 set:  ​ ​ Nordic Noel, Merry & Bright papers , washi and dots. I used one of the Washi tapes, an older stencil ( Elegant Tree ) and a sentiment from an older set called Festive Phrases . Added some Stickles for some glitz. Day 3 set:  ​ ​ Toucan Talk That maybe my favorite set from this current release. Those toucans are just my thing in all their quirkyness! I used a stencil for the background and some Washi tape from the last release at the bottom. Friday will be the release day. There will be five new sets, new dies, paper pad, ...

Funky Fossil Designs - Happy Bugday

  Hi Everyone, I am playing with my  Funky Fossil Designs  stamps.  I used this set called  " ​ Geo Bugs "  as I needed a buggy birthday card.... I used a page from an old dictionary and gessoed it. Stamped the bugs and colored them with water brush pens and markers. Die cut the sentiment and added it to the card. Drew some subtle  shadows with pencil under the bugs to make them stand out a bit. Topflight Stamps - Winter is Coming!

       Hi Everyone, It's  Topflight Stamps   day!  This week it's anything goes, so I decided to use this beautiful stamp from Crafty Individuals  and turn it into a Christmas card.  I sponged the background with distress oxide inks, using blender brushes. Stamped the stamp and did some light coloring of the bird and wood post, staying mainly monochromatic. I cut out the stamped image with a square die and mounted it onto white card stock. Katzelkraft - Partner in Crime

   Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. Today its going to be racoons - yes, racoons. I discovered, that you can easily turn those cute foxes into not so cute racoons, LOL! That way you get more out of your stamps, right?! I stamped the garbage can on a piece of scrap paper, colored it with Copics and cut it out. Cut off the lid. Stamped the back part of the fox upside down, so it fit into the can. I masked the fox a little bit and stamped the other fox. I colored them with Inktense pencils and gave them the racoon coat. Glued on the garbage can. Added the sentiment. Trimmed the card. Added a strip of paper to the side and an enamel dot at the bottom. Funky Fossil Designs - You're The Zest

Hi Everyone, I am playing with my  Funky Fossil Designs  stamps.  I used this set called  " ​ Funky Fruits "  and since its so hot here I went with the lemon. I used one of the pages from the   Kaleidoscope paper pad . Stamped the lemons and cut them out. Colored the leaves green. I splattered onto the background paper. I mounted the lemons with foam tape.
