Sweet Reindeer

Hi Everyone, despite making Christmas cards all year long, I still din't have quite enough....  On black Friday I took advantage of the sale at Sweet Stamp Shop and got myself some goodies. This sweet reindeer is from my haul... I embossed the background with a Papertrey embossing plate. Stamped the reindeer on Craft and added white gel pen accents and a small strip of Washi. Colored the heart. Cut a strip of Alexandra Renke paper and assembled it all.  For the second card I took patterned paper as background and a strip of glitter paper. Added some stars from a stamp set, I don't remember the company... Quick, easy and cute! Advent Calendar with Cats on Appletrees

Hi Everyone, remember the advent calendar I made a while ago? I promised to show you the inside, once all the doors were opened. Here it is all assembled:  And here is the inside, before I covered it: It took me a while to figure out all  the colors. Occasionally I used a stencil for the background -like for the peeing dog, the jumping reindeer, the llama and the goat. And here it is once more in all its glory ;)  I had so much fun making it. But it takes time.....time well spent! Here is a picture of its outside, so you don't have to go back to the original post. But If you want to know how I made it, you will have to go there . I will definitely make another one next year! Happy Stamping! Whoever did not get a Christmas card from me, perhaps can expect a New Years card....that is acceptable, don't you think so? I used the Robots Cle set for this card. I started with a stenciled background and added the robot. Colored with Inktense. Drew the flag and added the 2018 under the robots foot.  If you feel the urge to buy any Katzelkraft products, you can also order them in the US from those companies:  Lost Coast Designs ,  Topflight Stamps  or  Frantic Stamper  Happy Stamping! Katzelkraft - Too many Presents!

Hi Everyone, as you all know, Wednesday is Katzelkraft day on my blog. And since I still need more Holiday cards I made one more for my little pile. Do you recognize the Santa? It is actually the exhausted angel from the  Sherlock Holmes set . I stripped him of his wings and gave him a Santa hat and a die cut mustache. Clearly somebody was much too nice and got too many presents, LOL! The presents and Santa hat are from the  Accessoirs set . Did a bit of masking. Colored with Inktense. Added a touch of Stickles to the angel and the Santa hat. Added a bit of Washi tape at the bottom. Stamp Connection #44

Hi Everyone, Connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Tanja from   Little Art Cottage   and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 2nd Sunday of the month and this is our ninth transatlantic get-together! This time we both agreed on the requirements: Black Ice Technique and Christmas This technique is amazing - you should look at THIS tutorial. It is quite easy to do. You basically Stamp on mirror paper and then go over it with Versamark and add clear embossing powder. I used a combination of products - the background snowflakes are by Hero Arts, The die cut snowflakes are by Memory Box and the sentiment if from Inkystamps. Here is a detail photo: Since I had made a big mirror paper panel I got a second card out of it: Did the same, but also dry embossed the blue card stock (Tim Holtz) after I sprayed the embossing folder wi...

Golden Stag

Hi Everyone, I finally used my gold embossing paste again - before it dries out completely. This gorgeous stag stencil was given to my by my blogging friend Sandie from London Days , when I was meeting her in London, this fall. I immediately knew I would use it for Christmas cards. Here is my first one - the second one I will show you later.  I smeared the embossing paste onto white card stock and let it dry for a few weeks..... I used a dark green pigment ink to sponge around the stag and then took a stamp set by Flora & Fauna and added the greenery. The sentiment is from the same set. I trimmed the white card base and added dark green card sock strips at the top and bottom. This gorgeous stencil is designed by Sarah Grey from Funky Fossils Designs   and you can get this beauty in her  Online shop . Happy Stenciling!
