Hi Everyone, as you all know, Wednesday is Katzelkraft day on my blog.  I finally have some of the new stamps - could not wait to get my fingers on them......This one is from the Sherlock Holmes set The sentiment is from English Quotes I made myself a square mask and stamped the little magician. Made another mask for the magician and sponged with distress oxide inks. Splattered some water. Colored with Inktense and stamped the sentiment. Its a one layer card - my favorite thing to do... So Suzy & Crackerbox Stamps - Gone from Your Side

Hi Everyone, I want to introduce you to a technique I just learned and totally love it. I saw it on my blogging friend Gundi's blog Papierelle   and knew immediately I had to try this! You should try this, too. it is super easy and Gundi has a linky party  - try it, link up you card and you might win a super cute little snowman stamp! But since this is my So Suzy blog post I used So Suzy stamps for my card. the wonderful stencil you can get in the So Suzy Store . The big butterfly you can find HERE and the little ones HERE .  the sentiment is HERE . What else do you need? Sandpaper (I used a block), a pencil, a sponge and an eraser. I like the knead-able rubber eraser - you can form it into any shape. Use the sandpaper to create graphite dust from your pencil. Adhere your stencil to your card base, so it does not slip and start sponging the graphite dust with your sponge, joust like you would use ink.  Stamp you stamps over y...

Hi Everyone, as you all know, Wednesday is Katzelkraft day on my blog.  I used one of the new sets for this card: Les Pabos Aviateur Aren't they fun??!!!! I started with the moon and masked it. Sponged around with mainly distress oxide inks and added water splatters. Stamped the figures and colored them with mainly water brush pens. Cut em out. Stamped them again onto the card and added the cu-outs. Fiddled the branch under them. Added the sentiment. Twofer Card Challenge #10

Hi Everyone, its  Twofer Time . The theme is HARVEST. Now that is tricky. Harvesting what? I thought of mice (they love it) and apples and then I checked to see what other people do for this and they are harvesting leaves (why not....) pumpkins and grains.....so I figured I can harvest Chinese Lanterns. I always loved those plants and their pretty seedpods brighten up any fall garden.  This is a stamp by Lavinia - NBUS, but dearly loved and it finally got its debut. For the first card I did generational stamping, colored the first one with Inktense and added Finetec gold splatters. The lovely sentiment is a die cut mailed to me by the lovely Aileen Ryan a while back, no idea about the company. Love those gold splatters. Finetec is just one wonderful product! For card number 2 I stamped the Chinese Lantern upside down and added white gel pen accents. Also added generous Wink of Stella, but you can't really see that. an anoth...

Blog Hop with Imagine Crafts and Crackerbox & So Suzy Stamps

Hi Everyone, it is a special day today. Crackerbox & So Suzy Stamps have teamed up with Imagine Crafts to bring this blog hop to you. You probably already are familiar with Imagine Crafts. They carry all sorts of fabulous inks, such as Versafine, Delicata, Memento inks, to mention a few as well as other products such as Fireworks sprays. Perhaps you arrived here from the talented Jennifer from Scraps of Life I settled on the Fireworks sprays for this collaboration. I used Lilac Posies and Bahama blue and a Tim Holtz Stencil . I used the sprays to make some backgrounds, spraying through the stencil. You can take a new sheet of card stock and press it onto the sprayed stencil and you will get an additional background. Here are some of the backgrounds I created. I settled on the pink one for this card:  I added the  Birthday sentiment  and used a white pen alongside to make it better readable. Added turquoise paper ...
