So Suzy - Festive Landscape

Hi Everyone, I am loving the  new release  from So Suzy Stamps. The stamps are simply beautiful! And you can stock up on new Christmas stamps to get you into the mood of making them! I hope that this year I won't have any problems (like I had all the previous years...) - I have been diligently making them throughout the  year! And now I have another one to add to my growing pile. My So Suzy supplies:  Santa Sleigh , Doe , Buck , Merry Christmas Lets get started on this card: I used red masking tape to mask of a strip of card stock - you can see i have used those quite often by now - no need to throw them, as long as they are still sticky.  I used distress inks and sponged in an ombre pattern. Added the silhouette stamps with my Misti and afterwards some water splatters (its better to do that beforehand....) Die cut another piece of card stock, using a landscape die , because I decided some trees would be...

Word Up Weekend with Stampotique

Hi Everyone, Stampotique is having Word Up Weekend over at  Facebook  - showing cards with words on them. And that sentiment is truly hilarious! It's from Quotes 1 . I used Gordon the Giraffe  - he is from this month release. Definitely one of my favorites! I used Brushos as my background. I always love the color explosions you get with those crystals. Remember, we are in the second week of our  only BLUE challenge  - still time to play along! And you don't need to own Stampotique stamps.... Happy Weekend!

Say Cheese....

Hi Everyone, I am back with the Katzelkraft Rats , I just have use them..... This one is a hungry one, but you can see, there is plenty of cheese...The sentiment I just printed out on my computer. The holes I cut with Lifestyle craft circle dies. A little bit of Inktense pencils for the rat and some sponging for the cheese holes. Stampotique Challenge #282

Hi Everyone, the  Stampotique challenge  is in its second week - the theme is " Only Blue ".   I made myself a smooshed water color background and added those Short and Tall Trees . Iheat embossed them in blue and colored them in with more blue. The funny sentiment  is mounted with foam tape.. I then added googly eyes to the trees and tiny silver bells Please remember you can use any stamps for our challenge and you are allowed to have 2 entries per challenge. From all the current months entries we will draw 2 random winners who will each win a 30.00 gift certificate on the first week of the following month. Have fun with blue! Hope to see you at  the  challenge ! Linking up with: 30 Day Coloring challenge  - day 8 for me The Male Room  - masking Simon Says Monday challenge - shimmer and shine (shiny bells)

Stamp Connection #29

Hi Everyone, Connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Tanja from   Little Art Cottage   and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 3rd Sunday of the month and this is our twenty ninth transatlantic get-together! We also have an illustrious guest this time - it Tae Eun from Rainbow in November . Although her blog should be called Rainbow every day - she has an amazing eye for colors and her coloring skills are awe inspiring! I can't wait to see what she created! This time it was my turn to pick the requirements: decorate the back of your card And that's what I did, creating a little scene with my Katzelkraft stamps. I used three different sets - the famous Les Rats des Villes , Les Jungles  and the cute little mouse from Les Chats Russes . The sentimets are by Altenew and the little balloon is by Happy Little Stampers. I did some water color...

I Love you More after Coffee with Stampotique

Hi Everyone, I made another card for the Coffee Lovers Blog hop  - after all I am a major coffee addict. As I am addicted to stamping. I guess I just have an addictive personality....LOL! So, here is Harry Heart - he usually holds a heart in his hands, but I replaced that with a coffee cup, that I drew and pasted it over the heart. He was feeling kind of lonely, so I gave him company with that viciously cute little dog from the  Dog Cube . But I fuzzy cut and added them to a gelli print background. The die cut green border stripe ( Art Edges ) I added for extra interest. The speech bubble I made myself and the sentiment is from  Phrase Cube 2 .  Si if you ask, where is fall - well, its in the colors and the sweater Harry is wearing - its getting cool outside ;) Happy Stamping and don't forget to drink your coffee ;) Linking up with: Coffee Lovers Blog hop   30 Day Coloring challenge  - day 5 for me

Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Hi Everyone, as you all know for sure the Coffee Lovers Fall Blog hop is happening right now and I of course have to play along!!! If you are wondering about the fall theme - its all in the colors - red, green and brown, with a hint of yellow and blue (for the sky). I hope it counts.... That cute little dog is from Katzelkraft  (you can also find him HERE) . The background is a left over, from gelli printing, rolling off my brayer. I love those random backgrounds. The dog is colored with Inktense and fuzzy cut. I cut a slit into the background paper for the pull tab. I reinforced it in the back with Scotch tape. The funny sentiment is by Stampotique Phrase Cube 2  - those sentiments are hilarious! The die cut  border is made with  a CUTplorations die . Happy Hopping!
