Steampunk with Funky Fossil Design

   Hi Everyone,

Steampunk isn't really my thing, but this new set called
Engine Room from the latest release at Funky Fossil Designs is fun to play with. Especially for masculine cards, which can be so difficult to make......

I used a page from a dictionary and treated it with Gesso. Stamped the machinery on it and colored it. I added the Cogs and Gears dies . I used the wonderful new Patina Paper Pad for the die cuts. the sentiment is from the same set.

I hope you liked this and thanks for visiting.

Happy Stamping!

What an awesome card. I love the dictionary page idea, it goes really well as a background for the fab stamp. Hugs, Sue. x

You put the stamp, gears and paper together beautifully, Cornelia. And what a great idea to use a dictionary page for the background.

Katzelkraft - Stampotique Raven

Hi Everyone, Do you know that   Katzelkraft has aquired Stampotique stamps? This fun raven is designed by Daniel Torrente (#6314). I used an old background from my stashs.  I stamped the bird and colored it with alcohol ink markers.  I brushed distrss ink onto the background and added some pattern with the   Mandala Magic stencil  from Funky Fossil Designs.I used one of the border stamps on the left for more interest.  Stamped the sentiment  and doodled a frame around the sentiment.Added a googly eye to the bird and drew in some eye lashes.  The stamps I used are from the following sets: Spiral Borders - KTZ286,  Whatchamacallit  - KTZ276  (FRANCE) Spiral Borders  - KTZ286 , Whatchamacallit  - KTZ276 (USA) Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration.  Thanks for visiting! Happy Stamping! Linking up with: Simon Says Wednesday challenge  - fur or feathers
