National Coffee Day with So Suzy Stamps

Hi Everyone, it's National Coffee Day  - the perfect day to use So Suzy Stamps!  I love this coffee cup and I made a messy background for it. ' My So Suzy stamps supplies:   Coffee Hello , Coffee Cup , Spoon ,  It's Bean a While I used photo paper and smooshed distress oxide ink and regular distress ink on it. This becomes almost dimensional on photo paper. You have to buff it after its dry, to get the oxide film off the paper. Added the heat embossed sentiment and a strip of patterned paper. Yummy! Ready for some coffee?

Christmas Blessings Phrase Die For my first Christmas Blessings card I used a background made with black card stock and Fireworks sprays. So Suzy Stamps Event - Color your Life with Catherine Pooler

Hi Everyone, today is a special day! We are celebrating our collaboration with Catherine Pooler in the So Suzy store, since we now carry her fabulous inks and a few other items, like stencils. I am a big fan of those inks and often use them for my cards. They are very juicy and give you great coverage. But they also make for crisp impressions. They don't bleed and you can use the black with watercolors as well as Copics.  For this card I stayed with simple stamping - a few taps of your stamp on the ink pad, stamp and you are done! I used photo paper for this card. I first stamped the solid wispy chrysanthemum  with Tiara yellow . Then I added the wispy outline chrysanthemum  with Black Jack and the mini spray  as well as the regular spray I stamped the birthday sentiment and heat embossed it in white. Added a strip of patterned paper below. To see all the participants, go to the So Suzy blog Current promotions: We have a sale this mo

Twofer Card Challenge #9

Hi Everyone, its time to play along with the current  Twofer challenge . I almost didn't make it. I am going on vacation in two days and had to make a load of DT cards, but I had to squeeze this one in... The theme is LEAVES. My first card: Made a birthday card with a Brusho background and that pretty leave die facing outwards. The sentiment is by Avery Elle. No idea by whom the die is.   My second card: Went with Halloween, what else would be a good option right now? Had the leaves facing inward. Used rainbow paper as background  - a real time saver. Added some stamps (Teresa Collins, We R Memory Keepers) and a rat punch border (Martha Stewart) This challenge just makes me happy! Happy Twofing!
