More Holiday cards and another school project

Its never ending - the Holiday card production. .... I finally sent out all the cards that go overseas and started to send cards within the US. Only a couple of days left...Here are some other "works" of mine. the first batch I made with the Sizzix Alterations Snowflake embossing folder and a Hero Arts sentiment (Merriest Wishes)

The second set is just another take on a card I made earlier, just played around with different colors. The tree stamp is from Outlines stamps, the sentiment is Hero Arts. Embellished with Stickles and Perfect Pearls, the star punch is from Michaels

Here is another one of my sons school project he choose to do a timeline about JJR Tolkien - he is a big fan and we just saw "The Hobbit". It was fun making it. Especially those little books we made - used the Lord of the Rings for the inside pages - we had an old volume, that was falling apart.

Beautiful snowflake card, Cornelia! Love the shading and use of sentiment for the first card! Thanks for sharing your son's love of Hobbit. My DD is a BIG fan and already saw the movie! (she read all the books when she was in Grade 5!)

Here are my cards: For my first card I used a Tim Holtz embossing folder and embossed dark grey card stock. The cool deer I colored with Inktense pencils and fuzzy cut it. I stamped the Cool Yule sentiment onto aqua card stock and added white gel pen accents. Mounted everything onto a white card base. For my second card I used patterned paper as background. House of Cards April Challenge

Hi Everyone, its challenge time at House of Cards ! This month theme is going to be add a butterfly and/or color challenge. I added two butterflies here - from STAMPlorations - Artful Flutters . Colored them with alcohol inks. The background I made with a stencil by iStencil - just put it down straight and sponged it with distress inks. The sentiment is by Papertrey.
