Funky Fossil New July Release

Hi Everyone,

Today is the third day of the stamp reveal at Funky Fossil Designs!

I didn't have time to make a blog post every day, so I am combining them here. If you follow me on Instagram you will have seen the first two cards already.

Day 1 set: Garden Days.

I masked a strip and sponged with distress oxide inks in rainbow colors. Stamped and lightly colored the images tone on tone.

Day 2 set: Nordic Noel, Merry & Bright papers, washi and dots.

I used one of the Washi tapes, an older stencil (Elegant Tree) and a sentiment from an older set called Festive Phrases. Added some Stickles for some glitz.

Day 3 set: Toucan Talk

That maybe my favorite set from this current release. Those toucans are just my thing in all their quirkyness! I used a stencil for the background and some Washi tape from the last release at the bottom.

Friday will be the release day. There will be five new sets, new dies, paper pad, enamel dots and Washi tape.

Katzelkraft - Stampotique Raven

Hi Everyone, Do you know that Katzelkraft has aquired Stampotique stamps? This fun raven is designed by Daniel Torrente (#6314). I used an old background from my stashs. I stamped the bird and colored it with alcohol ink markers. I brushed distrss ink onto the background and added some pattern with the Mandala Magic stencil from Funky Fossil Designs.I used one of the border stamps on the left for more interest. Stamped the sentiment and doodled a frame around the sentiment.Added a googly eye to the bird and drew in some eye lashes.
