Twofer Challenge - Rain

Hi Everyone,

I have not been playing with the Twofer challenge in a while, but I got some time today and went to work....

I got that beautiful raindrop background from Local King Rubber Stamps recently and thought it's perfect for the theme. I made a sympathy card - unfortunately due to COVID-19 I needed to make several of those and a lighthearted card to balance it out.

I used those fun little Cats on Appletrees animals. The sentiment is by  Your Next Stamp.

For this card I used distress oxide inks to color in the background. The sentiment is by Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps

What a great twofer you've created! The paper is fantastic and looks like real raindrops! I love all the critters on the first card, especially the little doggie lifting his leg! LOL

That background had to be made for this Twofer...it's wonderful and you used it perfectly. Love the simplicity of the sympathy card...classy. Your critter card had me snorting coffee out of my nose...hilarious.

It's always a treat to see you and your designs at Twofer, Cornelia. I'm sorry to hear you've needed several sympathy cards due to Covid and I hope things have leveled off or tapered off where you are. Your sympathy card with this new raindrop background is heartfelt and beautiful. It will bring comfort.

And your lighthearted second design is also great because we need laughter in our lives, now more than ever. I certainly appreciated the guffaw that burst forth when I saw it! Nellie, not so much. I woke her from her pleasant doggie nap!!

Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #26 and for sharing at NBUS! Take care and keep safe! Hugs, Darnell

How awful to know people that have been affected by this awful virus, I'm so very sorry. We are very lucky to have only lost 11 people so far in our little country but I can't imagine how it must be to have lost thousands. Its just devastating. However, if there is one little good thing to come out of this, it would be your sympathy cards and my now learning about the Local King Rubber Stamp company. I've never heard of them before but I'm blown away by this stamp you used. Have just spent ages on their website looking at videos on their other background stamps.....they are stunning!! Now I can't wait to get back to gardening so I can buy some of their stamps in the future. Please stay safe and I have a feeling it might be your birthday too....so have a brilliant day!! xxxx

Those are fabulous raindrops puddled, such a cool stamp. You certainly gave them different looks. The sympathy card is beautiful and I am sure will bring comfort. Your lighthearted card made me laugh. So irreverent. Thanks for playing along at Twofer Card Challenge.

Your blending is beautiful, Cornelia ... the addition of the simple vellum strip sentiment is perfect for your sympathy card. Those COATs critters are just downright fun ... even though that pooch has no shame!! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! Hugs, Anita :)

And just in case you get lost - below are all the participants listed. Easter Egg and Bunny

Hi Everyone, I made a bunch of Easter cards, after all its little more than one month and I need to send them out in time... You see, they are all similar - using both the die cut and the negative, that I cut from a die cut egg. The cute bunnies got their yearly appearance - they are from Impression Obsession. the egg is by Lifestyle Crafts. The sentiment is by Papertrey. Addicted to Stamps and More #134 and Spotlight Sneak Peek

Hi Everyone, Its challenge time at  ATSM ! For the next two week its going to be CAS - just my thing! And hopefully yours, too! I made a birthday card, because for some reason I always need more and never seem to have enough.... I was inspired by this weeks Make it Monday , where the talented  Ashley Newell  shows us a video about  stamps and doodling. Since I  mainly own die cuts from Papertrey and not so many stamps that would fit this theme I made my own out of fun foam, using my latest Papertrey dies (just got the order a few days ago) and cut those in fun foam - it works so well - voila - you have our own stamps, spending only a fraction of the money! I doodled around the stamps as you can see. Gives you kind of a cool effect....a little more tremor and one would think I drank too much ;) Added tiny enamel dots - do you know about this month House of Cards challenge - its enamel dots - thought I'll let you know..... Our wonderful spons...
