Stamp Connection #50

Hi Everyone,

Connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Tanja from Little Art Cottage and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 2rd Sunday of the month and this is our 50th transatlantic get-together!

This time it was Tanja's turn to pick the requirements:
try a new technique
I choose the gesso resist technique that a long time ago was featured on A Blog named Hero.

It is quite easy. You take a stamp and add gesso to it. wait for it to dry and then sponge over it. Wipe the ink from the gesso with a wet rag. I used a Hero Art background stamp. The die cut is from Altenew. I die cut it with black card stock and glittered it.

Lets check out  Tanja's artwork!

Happy Stamping!

WHOA! Dramatic and fabulous...can't get any better than this.
I love the gesso resist effect, so funny we just did this at our craft retreat in May and I'll be posting some examples. Beautiful card Cornelia :)

Easter Egg and Bunny

Hi Everyone, I made a bunch of Easter cards, after all its little more than one month and I need to send them out in time... You see, they are all similar - using both the die cut and the negative, that I cut from a die cut egg. The cute bunnies got their yearly appearance - they are from Impression Obsession. the egg is by Lifestyle Crafts. The sentiment is by Papertrey. And here are bigger photos from this set: Linking up with Creative with Stamps - Easter The Paper Players - die cutting Die Cut Divas - animals Happy Little Stampers - anything goes with dies
