Happy Hanukkah !

Hi Everyone,

I have not played with Make it Monday in ages - time to change that! The topic is splattering, one of my favorite things to do! If you are hesitant to do it - watch the wonderful video at the Make it Monday blog from Danielle Flanders she explains it expertly!

I needed some Hanukkah cards so I pulled out the two little Papertrey sets I have and combined them. Its all heat embossed. Added the splatters and sponged some white ink around the candles and stars to give them some glow.

I know, its a bit late for that, since its starts on Sunday, but since its going on for 8 nights my cards at least will get to their destination before its over......

I am linking up with:

The Card Concept - see below, going for CAS
Muse: Christmas Visions - inspired by Chris Blagrave's wonderful card

Your Hanukkah card is truly beautiful. For the first time in my cardmaking, I have needed to create a Hanukkah card this year. I must say, examples in blogland are few and far between. Yours is a lovely design, and I thank you for telling us what supplies you used to create it.

Suzanne's Surprise Blog Hop

And we are celebrating this wonderful occasion with a special blog hop! You may have arrived from the wonderful Giada , our Italian contingent :) HAPPY BIRTHDAY Suzanne! I used the Blowing Butterflies  (heat embossed in gold)  and the Birthday Wishes  to create my card. I cut myself a gold frame from glitter paper and added a water color wash. I opened the frame on the side to have the butterflies and color spill out. Added lots of splatters and the heat embossed sentiment Your next stop on the hop is the talented Henriette - you are going to love her card! And just in case you get lost - below are all the participants listed. Easter Egg and Bunny

Hi Everyone, I made a bunch of Easter cards, after all its little more than one month and I need to send them out in time... You see, they are all similar - using both the die cut and the negative, that I cut from a die cut egg. The cute bunnies got their yearly appearance - they are from Impression Obsession. the egg is by Lifestyle Crafts. The sentiment is by Papertrey. And here are bigger photos from this set: Linking up with Creative with Stamps - Easter The Paper Players - die cutting Die Cut Divas - animals Happy Little Stampers - anything goes with dies

Addicted to Stamps and More #134 and Spotlight Sneak Peek

Hi Everyone, Its challenge time at  ATSM ! For the next two week its going to be CAS - just my thing! And hopefully yours, too! I made a birthday card, because for some reason I always need more and never seem to have enough.... I was inspired by this weeks Make it Monday , where the talented  Ashley Newell  shows us a video about  stamps and doodling. Since I  mainly own die cuts from Papertrey and not so many stamps that would fit this theme I made my own out of fun foam, using my latest Papertrey dies (just got the order a few days ago) and cut those in fun foam - it works so well - voila - you have our own stamps, spending only a fraction of the money! I doodled around the stamps as you can see. Gives you kind of a cool effect....a little more tremor and one would think I drank too much ;) Added tiny enamel dots - do you know about this month House of Cards challenge - its enamel dots - thought I'll let you know..... Our wonderful spons...
