colourQ challenge #192

A geometric pattern is the inspiration photo at the colourQ - that is for me!

So I fiddled round with tiny paperstrips to recreate the pattern and I am quite happy with the result - it was worth my time  - what do you think? I left out the black squares - I wanted it to be a bit softer....

The die cut is from Memory Box - Chloe Stem, Hero Arts Essential Messages. Here is a close up:

This is my second post today, but I did not wan tot miss the deadline for the challenge... I wish everybody a good night! Yawn....

Very pretty! Wow, this took lots of patience but worth it. I like the black out too.

I love this - and that you took the time to do it. I saw a LO once with mosaics and thought it would be cool on a card. Somehow. Great job.

I like it! I don't know if it is intentional of not, but I like how the tiles aren't totally lined up so you can see some shadows around them, and that the space between tiles varies a bit. Makes it very realistic, and emphasizes it's handwork and individual tiles.
And to that random pattern is great - I always find it hard to make a semi random pattern, involuntarily I do sort of use a pattern (after 2 whites I want another colour etc).
I love the die cut too.

Hallo Cornelia!
Deine Karte ist wunderschön. Diese "Flechterei" war bestimmt sehr arbeitsintensiv.
Liebe Grüße Sigi
