Christmas Card Swap

I took part in a Christmas Card swap this year and I have received the most wonderful cards. Unfortunately my efforts got somewhat hampered by hurricane Sandy. I just could  not make any cards in the evening - it was too dark and candlelight is not enough. On the weekend it was simply too cold and we spent the day cleaning up the yard and our cluttered basement. As long as we were moving we were okay. But I did make a couple of different cards and here they are:

This set I made with  a Memory Box die called "Modern Landscape". The snowflakes stamp is from Hero Arts, called "Stunning Snowflakes". I inked it up with Versamark and embossed it in white. The sentiment is Hero Arts as well (Merriest Wishes). To cause some more contrast I sponged with blue ink on the background before I glued the die cut on it. It does not show well, but I put some Stickles on the border of the die cut and put some Stickles on the stars next to the sentiment.
The card on the right I made with on of my sisters stamps - no idea which company. The sentiment is from Papertrey. I colored the lights with Copics and put glossy accents on them. I was really happy with the result.

For this card I used the same Memory Box die. The trees are from Hero Arts Merriest Wishes set and the sentiment is an old Hero Arts wood stamp. Again I could not resist a little glitter......
This card was really easy - patterned paper, the star die is from Papertrey, used gold foil for it.
For this card I also used a Memory Box Die. The stripes are stamped with a Market Street background stamp called "Candy Cane" and the candy cane I hand cut and put glossy accents on top.

Hi Everyone, I made a bunch of Easter cards, after all its little more than one month and I need to send them out in time... Addicted to Stamps and More #134 and Spotlight Sneak Peek

Hi Everyone, Its challenge time at  ATSM ! For the next two week its going to be CAS - just my thing! And hopefully yours, too! I made a birthday card, because for some reason I always need more and never seem to have enough.... I was inspired by this weeks Make it Monday , where the talented  Ashley Newell  shows us a video about  stamps and doodling. Since I  mainly own die cuts from Papertrey and not so many stamps that would fit this theme I made my own out of fun foam, using my latest Papertrey dies (just got the order a few days ago) and cut those in fun foam - it works so well - voila - you have our own stamps, spending only a fraction of the money! I doodled around the stamps as you can see. Gives you kind of a cool effect....a little more tremor and one would think I drank too much ;) Added tiny enamel dots - do you know about this month House of Cards challenge - its enamel dots - thought I'll let you know..... Our wonderful spons...
