Color Throwdown 2

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO EVERYONE!

We had a great dinner last night at friends of ours with loads of delicious food and lots of fun! I decides to skip breakfast today, because I am still not hungry and then we have some more celebrating to do at my in-laws. My daughter came home last night - she will join us today, yeah!
I LOVE those colors at the Color Throwdown challenge, and here is my second take on it:

The tree stamp is from Outlines stamps - sadly went out of business, the sentiment is Hero Arts. Embellished with Stickles and Perfect Pearls, the punched out star is from Michaels

Here are my cards: For my first card I used a Tim Holtz embossing folder and embossed dark grey card stock. The cool deer I colored with Inktense pencils and fuzzy cut it. I stamped the Cool Yule sentiment onto aqua card stock and added white gel pen accents. Mounted everything onto a white card base. For my second card I used patterned paper as background. House of Cards April Challenge

Hi Everyone, its challenge time at House of Cards ! This month theme is going to be add a butterfly and/or color challenge. I added two butterflies here - from STAMPlorations - Artful Flutters . Colored them with alcohol inks. The background I made with a stencil by iStencil - just put it down straight and sponged it with distress inks. The sentiment is by Papertrey.
