Katzelkraft - New Release IV

 Hi Everyone,

I am sure by now you have seen that there is a new stamp release from Katzelkraft. It is awesome! I figured I combine the vintage Citroen 2cv with the duck, as in German this car was called "Ente" - the German word for duck. The 2CV has often been referred to as the ugly duck over the years, especially in the German market, who produced the The “Sauss Ente”. NOt sure if the giraffe is qualified to drive that car....I think it just barely passed its drivers license....

I stamped the duck first, did a bit of masking and then stamped the Citroen. Istamped the giraffe on a piece of scrap  paper and cut it out. I colored them with alcohol ink markers. I cut slits into the car and fiddled in the giraffe. Used a bit of foam tape to get some dimension on the head. Trimmed the card and added a strip of patterned paper on the side.  Stamped the sentiment (Enjoy Quotes).
The stamps I used are from the following sets:
Farm Animals - KTZ2012CV Citroen  - SOLO182, Jungle Animals - KTZ168,
 Enjoy Quotes - KTZ291  (FRANCE)
Farm Animals - KTZ2012CV Citroen  - SOLO182, Jungle Animals - KTZ168,  Enjoy Quotes - KTZ291 (USA)

Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration.
Thanks for visiting!
Happy Stamping!

Katzelkraft - Stampotique Raven

Hi Everyone, Do you know that   Katzelkraft has aquired Stampotique stamps? This fun raven is designed by Daniel Torrente (#6314). I used an old background from my stashs.  I stamped the bird and colored it with alcohol ink markers.  I brushed distrss ink onto the background and added some pattern with the   Mandala Magic stencil  from Funky Fossil Designs.I used one of the border stamps on the left for more interest.  Stamped the sentiment  and doodled a frame around the sentiment.Added a googly eye to the bird and drew in some eye lashes.  The stamps I used are from the following sets: Spiral Borders - KTZ286,  Whatchamacallit  - KTZ276  (FRANCE) Spiral Borders  - KTZ286 , Whatchamacallit  - KTZ276 (USA) Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration.  Thanks for visiting!
