Dotty Spiders

 Hi Everyone,

I am playing along with the Day of the Month Card Club - the theme is dots. Now I do have plenty of dotty stamps, stencils and dies, but I wanted to go a different route. So I used punches and patterned paper to create those spiders. The googly eyes add another set of dots...I go inspired for those spider by Maile Belles from Simply Stamped.
For the legs I used a Stampin' up spider, but the body was not big enough, so I masked of half of the spider with Scotch tape and stamped it three times. Then I masked off the other side and used a stamp positioned to get the legs into the right spot.
Glued the spider bodies over the stamped body and added the spider heads with foam tape. Added the googly eyes. Stamped the sentiment and added a thin strip of Washi tape.

Katzelkraft - Stampotique Raven

Hi Everyone, Do you know that   Katzelkraft has aquired Stampotique stamps? This fun raven is designed by Daniel Torrente (#6314). I used an old background from my stashs.  I stamped the bird and colored it with alcohol ink markers.  I brushed distrss ink onto the background and added some pattern with the   Mandala Magic stencil  from Funky Fossil Designs.I used one of the border stamps on the left for more interest.  Stamped the sentiment  and doodled a frame around the sentiment.Added a googly eye to the bird and drew in some eye lashes.  The stamps I used are from the following sets: Spiral Borders - KTZ286,  Whatchamacallit  - KTZ276  (FRANCE) Spiral Borders  - KTZ286 , Whatchamacallit  - KTZ276 (USA) Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration.  Thanks for visiting! Happy Stamping! Linking up with: Simon Says Wednesday challenge  - fur or feathers
