52CCT - Sketchy Snowman

Hi Everyone,

I am back with my weekly Christmas card. I am playing along with 52CCT - the theme is a sketch - see below. I originally wanted to combine this challenge with the Woodblock Wednesday challenge, but then I did not have enough time to upload my card and write this post....

Sketches are not my forte...but I made it! I used some ancient background paper, this ancient woodblock stamp from Hero Arts and ancient Washi tape. I think it's pretty self explanatory how I made this card.....

I stamped the Cool Yule sentiment onto aqua card stock and added white gel pen accents. Mounted everything onto a white card base. For my second card I used patterned paper as background. House of Cards April Challenge

Hi Everyone, its challenge time at House of Cards ! This month theme is going to be add a butterfly and/or color challenge. I added two butterflies here - from STAMPlorations - Artful Flutters . Colored them with alcohol inks. The background I made with a stencil by iStencil - just put it down straight and sponged it with distress inks. The sentiment is by Papertrey.
