Guest Designing for 52CCT

Hi Everyone,

Merry Christmas to you! I hope you have peaceful and enjoyable Holidays! but in case you want to get some crafting in and work on you Christmas card stash for next year I have something for you! The new challenge at 52CCT, where I am honored to be guest designer for this week. The theme is brads or eyelets - I am sure you have them lying around in your stash......

I used the pretty Christmas tree from Katzelkraft and added star shaped brads and some pearls. I used thin cardboard for the card base to have a bit more heft for the brads. I brushed the background in part with gold delicata ink - gives it a nice shimmer, although it does not show up well in this photo.

Added lots of splatters and painted on more "snow". The sentiment is a die from STAMPlorations - doubled up for more sturdiness. I also added thin copper thread and strung it around the big top brad.

Was für eine wunderschöne Weihnachtskarte!!! Super, dass Du den Hintergrund im oberen Drittel gelb gestaltet hast, ich finde, dass dadurch alles in noch hellerem Licht strahlt.

Katzelkraft - Stampotique Raven

Hi Everyone, Do you know that Katzelkraft has aquired Stampotique stamps? This fun raven is designed by Daniel Torrente (#6314). I used an old background from my stashs. I stamped the bird and colored it with alcohol ink markers. I brushed distrss ink onto the background and added some pattern with the Mandala Magic stencil from Funky Fossil Designs.I used one of the border stamps on the left for more interest. Stamped the sentiment and doodled a frame around the sentiment.Added a googly eye to the bird and drew in some eye lashes.
