Katzelkraft - Don't be Afraid to Stand out

Hi Everyone,

I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post.

I am sure you have by now seen the new butterfly stamp set from Katzelkraft. They are gorgeous! I just had made a card with a different butterfly. You can see it HERE.

I used shimmer paper for this card. I repeatedly stamped the dragonfly with my Misti - started out with the center one. I stamped the dragonfly onto acetate heat embossed it in black and and colored it with Copics and cut out the wings only. Glued the wings onto the center dragonfly and colored the body of it. Stamped the sentiment, heat embossed it in white and added it with foam tape.

You can see the shimmer and the dimension the additional wings add better here.

The stamps I used are from the following set:

Klasse!!! Schön finde ich, dass Du nur die Libelle in der Mite coloriert hast. Dadurch tritt sie noch mehr in den Vordergrund.

House of Cards April Challenge

Hi Everyone, its challenge time at House of Cards ! This month theme is going to be add a butterfly and/or color challenge. I added two butterflies here - from STAMPlorations - Artful Flutters . Colored them with alcohol inks. The background I made with a stencil by iStencil - just put it down straight and sponged it with distress inks. The sentiment is by Papertrey.
