I am playing along at the Day of the Month Card Club challenge - the theme is California Poppy Day. I also happen to love poppies of all kind and have this ancient Hero Arts stamp (CL449), that clearly needed to be inked up for this occasion!
I stamped the poppies and colored them with water colors. Water colored the background and sponged a bit at the bottom. Added the dots (Stamps by Judith) and the sentiment - also Hero Arts (CL150). Added two enamel dots. this card came together quite quickly! It's a one layer card
I trimmed the card and added a strip of patterned paper on the side.
