Shell and Octopi

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to make one more summer card, before the summer is completely  over and Challenge up your Life provided the incentive - the theme is shells.

I thought I had some shells, but I was wrong, but then I dug o up this Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymus set, that I had won a looooong time ago and hadn't used. It has quite a beautiful shell in it. I also wanted to play with my new pearl alcohol inks. The shimmer doesn't show well in the picture, but they are pretty. I added some foil to the sticky areas. The delicate octopi are by Alexandra Renke and the frame is by Steckenpferdchen.

What an amazing final summer card...I can see the glow of those pearly alcohol inks. It works perfectly for marine look of the card. That shell is glorious...perfect to offset those teeny octopi. This is really a stunning card...my new favorite of yours.

So gorgeous, Cornelia. The alcohol ink made a great background for the wonderful shell. I'm so glad you "found" it. Perfect sentiment too.

Hier muss man ja aufpassen, das einem der Bildschirm nicht kaputt geht, so intensiv und knallig sind die Farben. Hammermäßig tolle Karte!!

Katzelkraft - Stampotique Raven

Hi Everyone, Do you know that   Katzelkraft has aquired Stampotique stamps? This fun raven is designed by Daniel Torrente (#6314). I used an old background from my stashs.  I stamped the bird and colored it with alcohol ink markers.  I brushed distrss ink onto the background and added some pattern with the   Mandala Magic stencil  from Funky Fossil Designs.I used one of the border stamps on the left for more interest.  Stamped the sentiment  and doodled a frame around the sentiment.Added a googly eye to the bird and drew in some eye lashes.  The stamps I used are from the following sets: Spiral Borders - KTZ286,  Whatchamacallit  - KTZ276  (FRANCE) Spiral Borders  - KTZ286 , Whatchamacallit  - KTZ276 (USA) Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration.  Thanks for visiting! Happy Stamping! Linking up with: Simon Says Wednesday challenge  - fur or feathers
