Twofer Card Challenge #8

HI Everyone,

of course I had to play along with the current Twofer challenge. the theme is geometric - how could I not????

I did use a MFT stencil for this - turned out to actually be not allowed.....bummer. But I had a sneaking suspicion about this, so I made myself those tiny triangular stamps...... so forget the stencil  - I did use the same stamp on both cards ;)

Look, here it is:

I don't think there is a size requirement for the stamps...perhaps I should read the FAQ's????

So I happily stenciled on both cards, as you can see. The happy birthday on the first card is by Neat&Tangled, the die cut thanks is by CUTplorations. Added my tiny stamps.

That was so much fun to make! I also cut two of the triangles on the first card - the bright blue and yellow ones and mounted them with foam tape for some dimension.

The bright pink triangles on the second card I simply masked. I die cut the thanks twice - with black fun foam and neon pink card stock.

This challenge just makes me happy!

Happy Twofing!

What makes me happy is where your imagination goes for these challenges. Once again, you've outdone yourself. Both cards are way beyond creative and, oh so, artsy. The color on the first one is awesome and the tiny triangles make them shine. The second sets my heart rate to pitter/patter. Love neutral and bright accents. I better get my thinking cap on so I can enter, too.

Love those little stamped triangles amidst the larger stenciled ones! Very clever and I'm not aware that a stamp has to be a certain size. Love the rainbow colors of the first card and the pretty pink, gray and black of the second card! Very clever!
Brilliant idea to make your own stamp, Cornelia! The colorful cluster of triangles looks amazing and I love the graphic look of card two!!

Ha ... good spot, Cornelia ... you're right, the same stamp or die on both designs ... so pleased that tiny triangle made an appearance! The first is vibrant, colourful, dimensional and fun ... so eyecatching! Those tumbling triangles leading into the neon pink have a certain cool sophistication about them ... so stylish! Delighted you enjoy Twofer so much ... thanks so much for playing along with us! Thanks, too, for joining in the fun at Time Out! Hugs, Anita :)
Cool use of that triangle stamp. I really love both cards made with it. And, going from so much color to just the light black with the bright pink was a great change but so well done.

I'm so happy this challenge makes you happy, Cornelia! And I love your "Happy Twofing" close! I might have to borrow that! Thanks for being understanding about the stencil and adding your stamp (no size limit) to make your entry fit the concept! And fit it, it did! Your graphic arrangement of triangles, your coloring, your dementia, and the cool way you did your sediment are just so amazing! Equally eye-catching and dramatic is your twofer with the wonderful shades of graphite shot through with that blazing neon pink! Stunning!! Thank you so much for your enthusiasm and for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #8! Hugs, Darnell

Really cool and trendy cards. The triangles look randomly placed and yet the designs feel well organized.

Way to overcome the 'no stencil' run, Cornelia. It didn't stop you from making a couple of wonderfully bright and happy geometric cards.

These geometric designs are so fun and funky! Cards with geometric images are perfectly gender neutral and so interesting looking. I bet stenciling and stamping these was super fun! Thanks for joining us at TIME OUT!

Katzelkraft - Stampotique Raven

Hi Everyone, Do you know that   Katzelkraft has aquired Stampotique stamps? This fun raven is designed by Daniel Torrente (#6314). I used an old background from my stashs.  I stamped the bird and colored it with alcohol ink markers.  I brushed distrss ink onto the background and added some pattern with the   Mandala Magic stencil  from Funky Fossil Designs.I used one of the border stamps on the left for more interest.  Stamped the sentiment  and doodled a frame around the sentiment.Added a googly eye to the bird and drew in some eye lashes.  The stamps I used are from the following sets: Spiral Borders - KTZ286,  Whatchamacallit  - KTZ276  (FRANCE) Spiral Borders  - KTZ286 , Whatchamacallit  - KTZ276 (USA) Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration.  Thanks for visiting! Happy Stamping! Linking up with: Simon Says Wednesday challenge  - fur or feathers

Combined So Suzy and The Ton Blog Hop

Hi Everyone, I am sooooo excited to be part of this amazing event - a combined hop between So Suzy Stamps and The Ton! I have been eyeing The Ton stamps and dies for quite a while - they are just gorgeous! And So Suzy - well you have seen their stamps on my blog - they are simply fabulous! I also love that they are made from rubber - its different stamping with them. Its much better for generational stamping and they don't stick to your paper when you use your Misti. You may have arrived from the fabulous  Eunji - its a hard act to follow her.... I got those gorgeous  Peonies Dies  from The Ton and die cut them with water color paper. Spritzed Dylusion inks on a sheet of plastic and dipped the dies into the colors. Mounted them onto black card stock. Added the So Suzy Birthday sentiment - heat embossed in white. Lastly I added a strip of envelope liner paper at the bottom. Here are my supplies: So Suzy Birthday sentiment ,  Peo...
