Twofer Challenge #6

Hi Everyone,

you knew this was coming, right? My entry for Twofer Card Challenge #6.
The theme is tree.
This was actually kind of easy for me, but I just needed to eek out some crafting time and decide on which tree to use....

I settled on a graphic one from the Scandinavian Print set by Neat&Tangled. And of course, one of my cards turned into a Christmas card. I never have too many of those.....

The cute deer are from Cats on Appletrees, the sentiment is from the same N&T set. I used my Catherine Pooler inks. They give you good coverage with one time stamping - perfect for those silhouette stamps. Only the black needs repeated stamping, unfortunately.

I couldn't resist to put a little red gem onto one of the deer.....

My second card is a more graphic card - used the same tree and turned it upside down for every other stamp. Again, I used my Catherine Pooler inks. the die cut is from STAMPlorations, as is the little happy. Added Washi tape and an enamel dot.

Glad i made it. Wouldn't want to miss a Twofer challenge! Too much fun!

Happy Stamping!

Fabulous, love those jumping reindeer they look so cool and that wonderful bright christmas trees and inset sentiment. Perfect
Great twofer cards, Cornelia! The layers of green shades of trees are pretty and interesting, The deer are so cute, especially the one with the red gem. Thanks so much for sharing this card with us at CAS Christmas!

And how clever to use the same tree stamp for a graphic design-ish pattern of the second card! The rainbow colors and the black/white stripe washi tape have a great impact. Love the hidden sentiment and the wonderful design. Hideko xx

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the graphic vibe on both these cards. It doesn't hurt that you've used those darling reindeer (I'm sure it cried out for the red nose). And hiding the sentiment amongst the cool design you made with your trees is really clever.
These are so wonderful the way you used the same trees two different ways. I think they are both amazing designs.

Thanks for visiting me and leaving a lovely comment. The thing that stands out for me on your lovely cards are the colours, then I saw you have used Catherine Pooler inks - say no more. I think I shall be buying more of these. I just love the colours. xx

Ah, thank you for the support, Cornelia! We love having you play and appreciate that you joined in challenge #6! Your tree designs are sensational! I am really impressed by how well the image worked as an every-other-one graphic image on your rainbow birthday card! Very unique thinking, which I've come to expect from you! Your Christmas card really made me laugh and I immediately started thinking of all the conversation bubbles that would work over their heads! Rudolph is like, "Whoa, dudes, I think you forgot something! You know, like the sleigh maybe? And the old fat dude?! And, um, me at the front?" Bwahaha! Hugs, Darnell

Very clever use of these trees, Cornelia! I love Rudolph and his friends playing reindeer games! So playful and fun! And the staggered trees make a beautiful border for a birthday wish! Thanks so much for sharing with us at CAS Christmas!

I LOVE your style Cornelia! Two amazing cards using the tree stamp. LOVE the layered stamping to create a beautiful forest of trees. Those reindeer are adorable and look so happy jumping over the trees. Rudolph look happy just watching the others being crazy! :)

And your birthday card is awesome! LOVE the rainbow of trees. Alternating the position of the trees for stamping is genius! The black and white striped washi tape looks perfect on both cards. Thanks for playing along with us at Twofer Card Challenge and CAS Christmas! xx

Katzelkraft - Stampotique Raven

Hi Everyone, Do you know that   Katzelkraft has aquired Stampotique stamps? This fun raven is designed by Daniel Torrente (#6314). I used an old background from my stashs.  I stamped the bird and colored it with alcohol ink markers.  I brushed distrss ink onto the background and added some pattern with the   Mandala Magic stencil  from Funky Fossil Designs.I used one of the border stamps on the left for more interest.  Stamped the sentiment  and doodled a frame around the sentiment.Added a googly eye to the bird and drew in some eye lashes.  The stamps I used are from the following sets: Spiral Borders - KTZ286,  Whatchamacallit  - KTZ276  (FRANCE) Spiral Borders  - KTZ286 , Whatchamacallit  - KTZ276 (USA) Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration.  Thanks for visiting! Happy Stamping! Linking up with: Simon Says Wednesday challenge  - fur or feathers

Combined So Suzy and The Ton Blog Hop

Hi Everyone, I am sooooo excited to be part of this amazing event - a combined hop between So Suzy Stamps and The Ton! I have been eyeing The Ton stamps and dies for quite a while - they are just gorgeous! And So Suzy - well you have seen their stamps on my blog - they are simply fabulous! I also love that they are made from rubber - its different stamping with them. Its much better for generational stamping and they don't stick to your paper when you use your Misti. You may have arrived from the fabulous  Eunji - its a hard act to follow her.... I got those gorgeous  Peonies Dies  from The Ton and die cut them with water color paper. Spritzed Dylusion inks on a sheet of plastic and dipped the dies into the colors. Mounted them onto black card stock. Added the So Suzy Birthday sentiment - heat embossed in white. Lastly I added a strip of envelope liner paper at the bottom. Here are my supplies: So Suzy Birthday sentiment ,  Peo...
