Muse Christmas Visions #100

Hi Everyone,

my teamie Chriss made a wonderful Christmas card to spark our imagination over at MCV.

This is her card:

You see I basically went with the flowers. Although a Poinsettia is called a Weihnachtsstern in German, which translates into Christmas star - hence my stars. I first wanted to use gold paper for my sentiment, but then I decided against it and kept it light. Got some gold in the little stars and the Washi tape on the side.

The stars are by Simon Says and the sentiment is from CUTplorations.

Now, since its our 100th challenge we also have a lot pf prizes for you. So come and play along, maybe you will be one of our lucky winners! You still have some time, the linky list closes at 7:59AM on Monday, 5/28.

See you at MCV!

Cornelia thanks for sharing your card with us at the All About Christmas challenge at Watercooler Wednesday this week......awesome! I love the German interpretation of poinsettia and how you turned that into the focus of your card. Very clever. The large lettering in white is beautiful and really adds to the overall appeal of your card. Thanks again for inspiring.

Katzelkraft - Stampotique Raven

Hi Everyone, Do you know that   Katzelkraft has aquired Stampotique stamps? This fun raven is designed by Daniel Torrente (#6314). I used an old background from my stashs.  I stamped the bird and colored it with alcohol ink markers.  I brushed distrss ink onto the background and added some pattern with the   Mandala Magic stencil  from Funky Fossil Designs.I used one of the border stamps on the left for more interest.  Stamped the sentiment  and doodled a frame around the sentiment.Added a googly eye to the bird and drew in some eye lashes.  The stamps I used are from the following sets: Spiral Borders - KTZ286,  Whatchamacallit  - KTZ276  (FRANCE) Spiral Borders  - KTZ286 , Whatchamacallit  - KTZ276 (USA) Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration.  Thanks for visiting! Happy Stamping! Linking up with: Simon Says Wednesday challenge  - fur or feathers
