So Suzy Snowflakes

Hi Everyone,

I am playing with the latest release stamps, creating a Christmas card. I have been making them all year long, but I still have the feeling I am behind. Time to increase the production, I guess...


My So Suzy Stamps:


Snowflakes Large, Medium and Small, Noel

I started out heat embossing those pretty snowflakes in white onto white card stock.

Used distress inks to sponge a blue ombre background.


Wiped off the excess ink from the snowflakes. I spritzed some water onto the card. Heat embossed NOEL onto vellum and added silver tape to my vellum strip.


Love how this turned out!

Wow, Cornelia, what a lovely card! The heat embossed snowflakes show up so beautifully against your ombre background. Love the way you've used those distress oxide inks. Spritzing the water on the finished background really adds a lot of additional interest. The silver tape and rhinestones are a perfect finish to your card. Now the song "Here comes Suzy Snowflake" is running through my head, Cornelia. I love the look of inking behind embossed snowflakes and yours embossed so well. I've had a few fails with this technique.

Beautiful card and I love the delicate design of these snowflakes so I just had to go and order them cause of course I don't have enough stamps (ho hum). I love the blending and how you used the vellum and silver ribbon. So beautiful Cornelia.

Easter Egg and Bunny

Hi Everyone, I made a bunch of Easter cards, after all its little more than one month and I need to send them out in time... You see, they are all similar - using both the die cut and the negative, that I cut from a die cut egg. The cute bunnies got their yearly appearance - they are from Impression Obsession. the egg is by Lifestyle Crafts. The sentiment is by Papertrey. Addicted to Stamps and More #134 and Spotlight Sneak Peek

Hi Everyone, Its challenge time at  ATSM ! For the next two week its going to be CAS - just my thing! And hopefully yours, too! I made a birthday card, because for some reason I always need more and never seem to have enough.... I was inspired by this weeks Make it Monday , where the talented  Ashley Newell  shows us a video about  stamps and doodling. Since I  mainly own die cuts from Papertrey and not so many stamps that would fit this theme I made my own out of fun foam, using my latest Papertrey dies (just got the order a few days ago) and cut those in fun foam - it works so well - voila - you have our own stamps, spending only a fraction of the money! I doodled around the stamps as you can see. Gives you kind of a cool effect....a little more tremor and one would think I drank too much ;) Added tiny enamel dots - do you know about this month House of Cards challenge - its enamel dots - thought I'll let you know..... Our wonderful spons...
