Happy Birthday with Cat #6

Hi Everyone,

I needed a birthday card for somebody special and I took that opportunity to play along with CASology's 5th birthday blog hop party.
The theme is balloon.

So here is my card:


I took Big Cat #6 from Katzelkraft and colored her/him with Inktense pencils. Added the balloon (MFT) and sponged it with distress inks. Added the die cuts. You might wonder how this card is going to fit in an envelope....
No problem!


It folds up - I have a lot of slightly bigger envelopes that I use for "over the edge" cards - gotta take one of those. You see a tiny bit of string peeking out at the bottom - if you pull on it, the balloon "stands up" again.

Diese Karte ist herrlich!!!
Die Katze ist DER Hit und du hast sie mal wieder toll in Szene gesetzt.
Aber wie funktioniert dieser Ziehmechanismus!!!
Da muss doch irgendwie eine Führungsschiene dabei sein, denn wie stellt sich der Ballon sonst aufrecht hin?
Aber vielleicht kann ich nicht kreativ genug denken :-(((

Always knew you were a genius...now I have proof. This card is beyond funny, cute, fabulous. Not only the coloring of the images (who doesn't believe a cat needs a microphone) but the construction. Add engineer to you many titles.

I love cats, now I have two kittens at home and that is why I love this card! Sweet singing kitten :-)) But I know that cat singing is not always so nice, hehe.
