And as customary I have a welcome picture for you. I took it in Chicago, where I attended a conference at the McCormick Center a few week ago. This glass work is by Costas Varotsos, a greek artist, who does just amazing things with glass.

I hope you like it as much as I do. But if not maybe my card puts a smile on your face......

Its ANYTHING GOES at Paper Smooches this week. By far my favorite kind of challenge.... I have a couple of kids birthdays coming up, so I pulled out my brand new Zoo Crew set to make this card.

That hippo just makes me smile. The sentiments are Sentiment sampler and Zoo Crew. Added some Washi tape and sequins. The hippo is colored with Copics. I photographed it twice to show the sparkle of the sequins better....

This was a very quick card. It took me 9 minutes and 43 seconds, but only because I took my time with the sequins......

Katzelkraft - Stampotique Raven

Hi Everyone, Do you know that Katzelkraft has aquired Stampotique stamps? This fun raven is designed by Daniel Torrente (#6314). I used an old background from my stashs. I stamped the bird and colored it with alcohol ink markers. I brushed distrss ink onto the background and added some pattern with the Mandala Magic stencil from Funky Fossil Designs.I used one of the border stamps on the left for more interest. Stamped the sentiment and doodled a frame around the sentiment.Added a googly eye to the bird and drew in some eye lashes. The stamps I used are from the following sets: Spiral Borders - KTZ286, Whatchamacallit - KTZ276 (FRANCE) Spiral Borders - KTZ286 , Whatchamacallit - KTZ276 (USA) Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration.
