Happy Halloween!

Hi,

I want to wish you a Happy Halloween!

and right for this occasion I have  - guess what - a Halloween card!
I mailed all of my cards out, so I had to make a new one....

I used a chevron background stamp from Rubber Necker, which I heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I sponged metallic ink onto the balck cardstock. I used two different kinds of Washi tape - I just love how the grey Washi tape matches the chevron pattern - it has the same distance - what a coincidence.....The little tag is from an old Stampin' up tag set.

I colored the spider with a neon marker added some twine and a black gem.
Of course, this card will go into a few challenges:

Less is More - use string or twine
The Twinery - Halloween theme
Pinspired -  Halloween theme
CASology - Black

I also wanted to share some Halloween cards I got - the first card I got from my blogging friend Susanne - perhaps you saw it already on her blog... So cute! It was so unexpected - it really lit up my whole day! Thanks, Susanne!

The second card is from my sister - not so unexpected - I ALWAYS get cards form her - isn't it great? I love the hexagons and the cool color combination!

And lastly I wanted to share the fun trip my sister and I did yesterday - we went to the Bronx Botanical Garden and did a little shopping on Arthur Avenue - the Italian section in the Bronx.

The Botanical garden is all halloweeny - including the trees!

Katzelkraft - Stampotique Raven

Hi Everyone, Do you know that   Katzelkraft has aquired Stampotique stamps? This fun raven is designed by Daniel Torrente (#6314). I used an old background from my stashs.  I stamped the bird and colored it with alcohol ink markers.  I brushed distrss ink onto the background and added some pattern with the   Mandala Magic stencil  from Funky Fossil Designs.I used one of the border stamps on the left for more interest.  Stamped the sentiment  and doodled a frame around the sentiment.Added a googly eye to the bird and drew in some eye lashes.  The stamps I used are from the following sets: Spiral Borders - KTZ286,  Whatchamacallit  - KTZ276  (FRANCE) Spiral Borders  - KTZ286 , Whatchamacallit  - KTZ276 (USA) Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration.  Thanks for visiting! Happy Stamping! Linking up with: Simon Says Wednesday challenge  - fur or feathers
