Jingle Bells

I was forced to take took a little break from cardmaking - with school starting and work and family obligations, there was simply no time. This card I made for Jingle Belles took several days - no kidding, but in the end, 5 minutes here and there add up to one completed card....Not that I really was alot of work.

I show you 3 views, because the embossing on the middle panel is subtle and hard to see. I used a Spellbinder plate for it. The sentiment is from Purple Onion design and the Papertrey Rickrack border die. Some ready made foil snowflakes, PP and brads.

I am also linking this up with the CHNC challenge - Anything Goes Christmas

Here is the Jingle Bell Sketch:

i am always heartened to hear that other people take more than one evening to finish a card... that happens to me all the time!!! this one was TOTALLY worth waiting for, however, what a lovely holiday card; i especially love the beautiful blue color palette! ps: it's a FAB take on our JINGLE BELLES sketch, as well! ♥

Katzelkraft - Stampotique Raven

Hi Everyone, Do you know that   Katzelkraft has aquired Stampotique stamps? This fun raven is designed by Daniel Torrente (#6314). I used an old background from my stashs.  I stamped the bird and colored it with alcohol ink markers.  I brushed distrss ink onto the background and added some pattern with the   Mandala Magic stencil  from Funky Fossil Designs.I used one of the border stamps on the left for more interest.  Stamped the sentiment  and doodled a frame around the sentiment.Added a googly eye to the bird and drew in some eye lashes.  The stamps I used are from the following sets: Spiral Borders - KTZ286,  Whatchamacallit  - KTZ276  (FRANCE) Spiral Borders  - KTZ286 , Whatchamacallit  - KTZ276 (USA) Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration.  Thanks for visiting! Happy Stamping! Linking up with: Simon Says Wednesday challenge  - fur or feathers
