Make It Monday #126: 3D Die-cut Sentiments

This is the coolest technique! You have to check out Betsy Veldman's video over at Make it Monday! She made the coolest card!!!! The die she used lend it self a little better to the technique than the one I used here, but it did come out okay I think......although the technique is a little tricky - takes some practice....



There is no stamping on the card - I never made one of those....


I continued the 3-D strip in the background, this added additional dimension. I just love this technique!

You're 'hello' came together brilliantly! Bold and bright is the perfect option for this technique. Also love the white die cut on the 3D. And who could be tired of those beautiful vacation photos? My son visited Germany and Austria and loved it!

Ich habe dieses Video auch angeschaut. Das Ergebnis gefällt mir total gut, aber es war mir zu aufwendig, auszuprobieren. Ausserdem habe ich keine Copics oder andere, geeignete Stifte. Mein Kompliment, dass du es gewagt hast! Deine Karte ist toll geworden!
Danke auch für die schönen Fotos von Bayern! Die bringen schöne Erinnerungen hoch!

Stunning card...I can't wait to give this a try. Your's is just perfect! As for your vacation photos, I love seeing them, that bat hanging out in front of the one business is my favorite, I just love bats.

You should be so proud of this card. Betsy's tutorial, as always, is a thing of beauty, but when you look at the cards that have been posted, it's clear to see that this is no easy technique to master. It is very clear that you worked very carefully, as well as having chosen a wonderful palette. Kudos!

Oh, diese Karte hat was! Macht echt was her diese Technik, vielleicht probier ich die mal aus (wenn ich wieder mehr Zeit zum basteln habe!!)

Landshut scheint eine schöne Stadt zu sein, leider war ich noch nie dort aber was nicht ist kann ja noch werden....
Die Ladenschilder finde ich echt toll, das sieht ein wenig nach damals aus!

Katzelkraft - Stampotique Raven

Hi Everyone, Do you know that   Katzelkraft has aquired Stampotique stamps? This fun raven is designed by Daniel Torrente (#6314). I used an old background from my stashs.  I stamped the bird and colored it with alcohol ink markers.  I brushed distrss ink onto the background and added some pattern with the   Mandala Magic stencil  from Funky Fossil Designs.I used one of the border stamps on the left for more interest.  Stamped the sentiment  and doodled a frame around the sentiment.Added a googly eye to the bird and drew in some eye lashes.  The stamps I used are from the following sets: Spiral Borders - KTZ286,  Whatchamacallit  - KTZ276  (FRANCE) Spiral Borders  - KTZ286 , Whatchamacallit  - KTZ276 (USA) Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration.  Thanks for visiting! Suzanne's Surprise Blog Hop

I used the Blowing Butterflies  (heat embossed in gold)  and the Birthday Wishes  to create my card. I cut myself a gold frame from glitter paper and added a water color wash. Combined So Suzy and The Ton Blog Hop

Hi Everyone, I am sooooo excited to be part of this amazing event - a combined hop between So Suzy Stamps and The Ton! I have been eyeing The Ton stamps and dies for quite a while - they are just gorgeous! And So Suzy - well you have seen their stamps on my blog - they are simply fabulous! I also love that they are made from rubber - its different stamping with them. Its much better for generational stamping and they don't stick to your paper when you use your Misti. You may have arrived from the fabulous  Eunji - its a hard act to follow her.... I got those gorgeous  Peonies Dies  from The Ton and die cut them with water color paper. Spritzed Dylusion inks on a sheet of plastic and dipped the dies into the colors. Mounted them onto black card stock. Added the So Suzy Birthday sentiment - heat embossed in white.
