Various Hearts

First I want to welcome my new members on my blog

and
jules ov crafts

Sudha is from Delhi and has an amazing website - beautiful cards and craft supplies. I did not find Jules on the web, so I can't tell you anything about him. But thanks for joining, I hope you have fun on my little blog. T snapped this picture for both of you. I went to a little exhibit in a nearby Museum (Morris Museum) and they had this amazing little exhibit called Toying with Art. This picture show one of Dalton Ghettis amazing pencil sculptures - masterpieces carved out of graphite. Absolutely amazing work. I thought I have to share that with you. I'll show you more in a later post.

And now back to card making...
Toady was the first day of

Online Card Classes Clean & Simple 2

This card I made using one of the "homework" sketches

I used Sizzix heart dies to cut out the pink card layer, made a mask for the grey heart, which I sponged and then punched out the little red heart and covered it with glossy accents. I thought the pink was a little plain, so I stamped the Hero Arts envelope background onto the pink paper with a light pink ink.. The pink card layer is elevated with foam dots, as is the red heart in the center. It does not show well in the big picture, since I had to use a flash to take it. The sentiment is from Hero Arts - Spring Borders (Cl 128), stamped around the corner.

This card I made for the Make your own Background challenge at Moxie Fab and the Pinspired challenge #2. Here is the "pinspiration" photo:

I used the Memory Box die Fresh Daisys for this card, which I cut into the grey cardstock and then inserted the white diecut. I used the Mr. Huey Chevron mask and sprayed it with Mr. Huey, to make my own background. The sentiment is from Papertrey. And lastly I put some little gems on the card.

I also entered this card into the "Anything Goes Challenge" at Word Art Wednesday #64. That is just my type of challenge...

I wish you a good night and hopefully I 'll be back tomorrow with more from my fun online class.

Katzelkraft - Stampotique Raven

Hi Everyone, Do you know that   Katzelkraft has aquired Stampotique stamps? This fun raven is designed by Daniel Torrente (#6314). I used an old background from my stashs.  I stamped the bird and colored it with alcohol ink markers.  I brushed distrss ink onto the background and added some pattern with the   Mandala Magic stencil  from Funky Fossil Designs.I used one of the border stamps on the left for more interest.  Stamped the sentiment  and doodled a frame around the sentiment.Added a googly eye to the bird and drew in some eye lashes.  The stamps I used are from the following sets: Spiral Borders - KTZ286,  Whatchamacallit  - KTZ276  (FRANCE) Spiral Borders  - KTZ286 , Whatchamacallit  - KTZ276 (USA) Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration.  Thanks for visiting! Happy Stamping! Linking up with: Simon Says Wednesday challenge  - fur or feathers
